  3. it says on their website that you can "order for custom frame builds" but i cant find out how and havent got an email back from them yet. anyone know how to get hold of Iolo, because he said he had a load of T45 tube lying about. I already tried the obvious...pm'd him and emailed etc thanks
  4. does anyone know where i can buy a complete tube set for the construction of my frame? it needs to be T45, Reynolds 853 or something similar which can be brazed and is the right type of steel for a trials frame. thanks sam

  6. i've just finished mine. if you want i could pm you a copy? dunno how good mikne is though. its for marine technolgy at plymouth too so it might not be too helpful
  7. a well set up mx comp has to be the best value for money fork out there in my humble opinion. pretty good all rounders, light, smooth and amazingly cheap for what you get. I had the sexy '04 ones with the drilled out crown. that years model is the sexiest imo
  8. im probably completely wrong but they look like mx comp airs to me?

  11. just wondered how many bikes with saddles there are out there? here's mine... let's see yours?
  12. no, would be shite. would engage twice and feel really spongey. would have to engage the freehub then the freewheel.
  13. yeah, i really like that one too, it looks like the shaddow is riding on the car!
  14. Nope, Hope are a mountain bike company and it wouldnt be worth their while. I mean mods come from BMX's hence the BMX rear hub spacing. Hope have only ever made 135mm (MTB) or 130mm (Road) rear hubs and they would have to completely start from scratch to make a rear mod freehub...it would be considered quite a niche market aswell so it isnt worth the effort on their part. would be nice though!
  15. haha thanks i really love the way it looks but id rather ride it to be honest! the frame looks like it has been on a wall since it was new to be honest, it's imaculate...courtesy of Joe Rothwell
  16. cheers, the stickers were from www.cleanbikes.co.uk for whoever it was that asked: It's plasticote primer for aluminium, hycote topcoat (ford signal green touch up paint) and then hycote laquer (sp?)
  17. cheers nah boyo. rear maggy with an rb lever i was gonna go double disc but i had a monty non disc hub and couldnt be arsed to get a new one. might go for DD when get som more money

  22. erm i had some pole in trials chat a couple of weeks ago to help decide the colour, and i think lime green came 2nd or 3rd but i didnt want purple in the end because that would have probably looked shit i decided! heres the frame and forks, got it stickered up today to be honest im not convinced myself yet but i reckon it'll look better built up what does everyone think? i'll get photos of it built up next week and stick the pics up.
