My ankle isn't healed yet, the physio said it's going to take about three months but if I'm gentle on it and wear an ankle support I should be ok with it and you'll have to wait and see I might have a pair of old style blue rimjams in my shed i could lend you for the ride (but dont hold me to that because my shed is a mess!)
I reckon my ankle might be upto riding (gently) next week, and hopefully i'll have my bike built up by then, so does anyone fancy an Ipswich ride? I've not ridden trials for literally months (been bmxing lots though!) since i broke my vee brake adaptors like before Christmas, but now thats all sorted and I'm dual disc So anyone up for it? Norwich and Essex lads too maybe? The more the merrier! 11:00 at the skatepark on Sunday 2nd March
Theres a guide on the Hope website. edit: i was wrong, not for the pro2. i'm pretty sure you get the bit inside the freehub body and pull it out with a pair of pliers.
I modified a Hope mono casette hub to fid a mod. If you replaced it with a hope xc hub body you'd have a perfectly spaced disc freehub for a mod king and profile disc hubs need bodging to fit properly.
XTR lever Animal Bikes linear slick kevlar cable Ultimate arms CRVs on a medium grind thats what i ran until i snapped my veedapters and it was pretty mental.
A failed sidehop lead to me crushing one of the bolt holes on my rear pro2. Will the hub be under significantly more stress if i run a rear disc on 5 bolts?
I'd say stick with a bb7, the 2007 rear will fit with a front adapter, which is £7 from chainreaction. The 2008 I use is awesome, can't really notice it flexing anymore than the old version, so its upto you!
yeah, i'll give it a go there's a bb in there at the minute so i'll leave it in until i need to take it out then i'll take it into work and tap it out. cheers for the help
I know, i use one at work quite regularly. I just bought a 2nd hand frame and the guy said he tried to put the bb in backwards and fooked it up a bit... dunno if i'll be able to chase them.
