take the frame to your lbs (not halfords bcause they'll only make it worse) and ask them to chase out your bottom bracket threads, this will probably be enough to use a normal bb, works suprisingly well if it's done properly

mineral oil will cause the ptfe tape to disintergrate, only use ptfe with a water bleed

Right, got the frame I made up fully built up and riding now went for a quick test today, only 5 minutes messoing around and all really small because I really dont want to crack it! It was literally ridden just enough to establish it works, get some proper testing done some time next week Bit of an arty one (it's an HDR) So it works
