  1. would be really nice if you laid of the gold a bit, and have you ever considered non-deng components as an option?
  2. bmx cranks and a steel frame?... You're my hero!

    Beau

News like this really brings home how delicate life is. He clearly had a lot ahead of him too, it's a real shame this happened, but I suppose it really makes you realise you've got to make the most of everyday. Really genuinely sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with those who were close to him and his family.
  4. whats the story with hydrogen fuel cells? I mean; have they worked out how to store/deliver the hydrogen yet?
  5. Try a Primo comet if you want a slick front tyre? Should do the job.
  6. On a trials bike, I was working on small 360 gaps, was getting the distance (not more than a metre) and rotation but i was finding it hard to ride out of it smoothly. I love gapping into a manual, it took alot of practise but i was easily getting 5 foot (give or take) flat gaps into a manual without touching the brake pretty consistently. I think if you practise anything enough you'll get it eventually.
  7. not real bmxers, only ponces who have skinny saddels, titanium, freecoasters and big bars.
  8. To be honest dave kindof has a point, I wouldnt be that impressed by someone doing that on a bmx... Infact, I'd almost certainly give that a crack myself, but for some reason the fact he's got big wheels makes it slightly more impressive, even though this should make it easier! Not sure, it's not even close to vert either, so maybe I'm not that impressed.
  9. What you want is a set of pashley forks. Apart from that it looks like my kindof bike, really nice!
  10. keepin' it real with an old school 231... edit: am I allowed an 04 echo pure in here too? It had a seat!
  11. I think the flanges are identical on the pro2, so all the spokes should be the same length here's a wheelbuilding guide I made for a bmx, it's for 3cross but the principal is exactly the same. If you follow this you won't go far wrong! link
  12. your spokes are crossed over the valve on the back
  13. looking around, I got a 5 inch Opinel on my bedside table, that would probably be the first thing I'd grab. also got a replica musket in my wardrobe which would probably hurt quite alot if you took it over the head! Actually, My bedroom is full of potential weapons...
  14. sure, here are the pics: The grind looks funny in the photo, but it's really nice; really light and sharp so it would be perfect on something like plaz crm pads

  17. -In 1919, the Russian transplant pioneer Serge Voronoff made headlines by grafting monkey testicles onto human males. -A jiffy is an actual unit of time for 1/100th of a second. Thus the saying, I will be there in a jiffy. -Bamboo plants can grow up to 36 inches in a day. -Every day, the Hubble telescope transmits enough data to fit 10,000 standard computer disks. -The average density of the universe at the moment is about 6 protons per cubic metre. -It would take twenty new mid-size cars to generate the same amount of pollution that a mid-size 1960's car did.
  18. I'd say a 2nd hand king headset or a new hope one. owned both and they perform really well, especialyl compared to cheaper headset, such as the FSA pig pro (which is shit).
  19. My friends at sheffield oin the brand new halls, the ones that have just been built. He keeps his bike under his bed.
  20. I was really hoping this was going to be about fatpant's anus.
  21. cut a hole out of the headtube? you could save a big chunk of weight then?
  22. standard, external cups. I believe mine came with a cane creek back in the day...
  23. If you wanted to do it on a stock, you could drill a fixed cog so it could be bolted to the disc mounts on the left hand side of the rear hub and use a front freewheel. You'd have to get some cranks with a reverse thread and a LHD bmx freewheel too. or use a huge lockring and reverse the internals of an eno?
