  1. Use the search. "Riding a bike with no seat over something you wouldn't bother walking over" is a classic.
  2. Yeah, It's a 220 x-hydra. Look. I've never 'scammed' anyone. There was a mix up with his address, I didn't have a computer for ages, I gave him my mobile number, but I never heard from him, I bought a laptop for coming to uni. I've been in contact with him in the past couple of weeks and it's all sorted now. I'm going to post them when I go home for Christmas and he's agreed with that. I don't see why you're still going on about it. He hasn't exactly been co-operative when I've been talking to him and you're just taking the piss. Maybe you should keep your nose out of other peoples business as you clearly don't have a clue what's going on.
  3. Pads: New(?) Plazmatic CRMs Time used: 2 weeks worth of riding Rim used: 26" Revell rear rim Grind: Fresh, sharp, medium grind. Brake used: Old style maggie with adamant mounts in a Zhi Z2 frame (water bled and a bodged TPA ) Booster: None (and a flexy frame!) What is your opinion of a working brake: Amazing bite (and honk!) in dry and really wet conditions. The hold is reasonable as well, but in the wet it does slip slightly under extreme load (i.e. When you're just on the corner of a wall etc.) Not running a booster means you can feel the frame flexing through the lever (slightly spongey), but improves bite in my opinion. Running a booster would probably increase hold in the wet conditions too. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: This brake setup is second only to the older plazmatic CRV pads in metal backings in an avid ultimate, which I used to run. Far better than the Rimjam blues I used to use, and they beat my rear BB7 for bite and hold, hands down. Definitely better than the old style ZOO! pads I used to run on a smooth rim with tar back in the day, especially in the wet!
  4. How much for an old 231 X-Lite? Are they the 25" version?
  5. Are you completely retarded? It's your own fault you don't have them yet, and we spoke about it a couple of days ago. I can't post them til I get home from Uni. Idiot.
  6. weather looks good. I'll be there at 11.00
  7. If you made a 1kg block of lead lighter, it wouldn't be a 1kg block of lead anymore
  8. That definitely isn't NĂ³ra Tavasi. That's Amy Garrod and that photo was taken in France last summer (2007) edit:Here's her profile on here
  9. Even if you're trying to sell stuff which is brand new and the latest model/best you can get, nobody even takes any notice! It used to be really busy in that section of the forum, all of the time. It's definitely not the same 'hive of activity' it used to be!
  10. Yeah, I guess so. Possibly to do with the general lack of spare money people have to throw at bikes at the moment due to the crappy economy too? Hadn't really thought about it.
  11. I've noticed in the past few months (perhaps since 'for-sale' and 'wanted' became separate) that the classified ads on the forum are getting fewer responses and less interest than they used to. Maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty sure I'm not imagining it?!
  12. Weather's looking good. Edit: I just checked the wind... 40mph all day thats annoying!
  13. My girlfriend rode for a while, but to be able to buy yours a hydroxx, you have to be absolutely rolling in it! edit: here's a picture of mine riding some rocks, she got reasonably ok, but got bored with it I think.
  14. For a second there, I actually thoght I was in NMC!
  15. I'll be out in pompey on Sunday 11:00 at Guildhall?
  16. My girlfriend came to visit a couple of weeks ago and now she's now 7 days late...
  17. Are koxx xc frames available through tarty now?
  18. DT100s are great in the studio, not so keen on them at home. They sound increddible, but theyre just too chunky for everyday use in my opinion.
  19. to me his face says 'bells palsy'. (I hope that didn't offend anyone)
  20. If we can get 500 forum members to complain about a show, do you reckon we could get an over-payed demi-celebrity sacked too?
  21. ska-core is cool... but it has nothing on farmyard-core!
  22. AKG close back headphones > Bose closed back headphones Owned both. Bose are more comfortable to wear, but the sound quality of the AKGs can't be touched.
