  1. I'll do my best to get in contact, and I'll ask him. do you have a preference for colour?
  2. sweet. Only problem there is; I don't have any original Leeson stickers. Can anyone help me out there, pretty please. Danny: Is there a surplus of them left? that's much simpler than having some made. awesome. thanks guys.
  3. Yeah, but I thought he only does standard fonts, cut with a vinyl printer? If I'm going to put any stickers on the frame, I wnat them to be the authentic Leeson ones, or as good as identical to them.
  4. He's been on here as recently as the 7th of Jan...
  5. Sorry for making a whole topic for such a minor question, but couldn't think of any other way of doing this... Basically, I'm having my 609 powder coated at some point pretty soon, and I'd really like to get a set of original Leeson frame stickers for it. Clive isn't making the frames any more, so I presume that means I can't get any from him. Any other suggestions from anyone?
  6. Yours looks like my girlfriends old one I like the way your seat isn't absolutely slammed. Nice touch.
  7. thinnest cutting disc you can find.
  8. I have Steve's old frame to quote Paul Oliver "It's a bit of a relic!" I'm going for everything in black with chrome rims front and rear...
  9. Surely that makes it less bad as they could be imagining someone else...
  10. I might come and take a look. are the other bands any good?
  11. Front brake on the left is a convention from road bike brake setups. Shimano and Campagnolo road bike brakes are designed for the cable routing from the rear brake to go down the left hand side of the frame, and flow neatly, across the headtube and into the right hand lever, and the cable enters the front brake on the left hand side and crosses over neatly with a nice flowing cabe line into the left lever, giving really nice flowing cable lines. A lot of British road cyclists use their brakes the 'continental' way, for this reason. Front brake on the right was introduced by some British road cyclists, from 'back in the day', when brakes were shite, because most people are right handed, and the majority of the braking power on a conventional bike comes from the front wheel. It kindof stuck in this country, but not really anywhere else!
  12. Yes, absolutely I do. How much? Actually, I'll pm you...
  13. I'm in the process of building up my new bike at the moment, and I've ordered all my new parts, but I'd just like to see some other builds for inspiration really. There must be quite a broad range of styles, some really streety and some more techy. Please post a pic of yours in here so we can compare them all.
