  1. I'll clamp it all up really well or make a kindof jig. Thanks for the help. Will probably sort it out when I go home at Easter.
  2. That sounds perfect. I dont mind the tiny bit of added weight. I have some old, bent BMX handlebars at home, and some old BMX forks for donor steerer tube. I could just do it myself using the arc welder... Should be ok I guess. Cheers for the input, guys.
  3. I did Korean Karate for 4 years, but I raped my knee and had to stop Realy enjoyed it and got upto purple belt, which is 2 below black.
  4. You can get some epoxy stuff. I think it's called metal araldite or something. that's pretty good. Easily available too.
  5. Unprofessional to the point of 'lol'.
  6. Dr.Nick or Mack would be amazing mods.
  7. I did mine on paint too. Connor, you're using the wrong one, the corrected one is slightly further down the page.
  8. avatar for the hatorz. Credit for the idea to Jardo.
  9. There's no need, Mr. Edd Potts is posting my fancy new machined jobby on Monday
  10. They wont be bodged, I'l get them welded properly and they'll be plenty string enough if theyre done well. I Don't want to swap my forks either, they're pretty special: Theyre Pasheys which have been Clived. He made a disc mount and brazed it on. They're too rare to get rid of.
  11. If I set the pads close enough to the rim and runa decent gyro, it should be fine, hopefully.
  12. Right, my front end feels a bit low, but the stem is right to the top (and then some) of the steerer tube. Does anyone have the kit/skillz to lop the top of my steerer tube off and tig weld a new section back in? Seen it done before, just a question of finding someone who can weld to a level I can trust, otherwise I'd do it myself
  13. I'm going to stick a vee brake and a gyro on my leeson and learn hop-whips and barspin drops.
  14. I really would, but I'm completely sober for the first time in quite a while, damnit!
  15. But i like bikes and I'm not so keen on cars. I drive if I absolutely have to, but I'd much rather use my bike for transport.
  16. It's £315 for frame, fork, headset, bottom bracket and crankset. Looks like it's only ever been track ridden. So tempting, but I know I can't justify buying that, because it means I'd end up buying a carbon disc wheel or tri-spoke for the front and it will be another £1k on another bike... Self discipline FTL/W
  17. 1988 apparently. I can't reall justify it, because I'd have to buy a 650c front wheel to go with it and pay for postage from france... I sooooo want it though. look at the split tubes the clearance is so tight that the back tyre slots between the split part of the seat-tube! It's my idea of track bike porn.... but do I really need it?
