  1. I'll happily come alopng to one of the freestyle nights at milton keynes, if one of you want to organise something?
  2. I ride BMX on and off. Mainly trails, but my shit knees have stopped me until I have surgery atleast. My last build was a deluxe XL (http://deluxebmx.com/news/2009/03/sam-domans-new-bike/), pretty nice to ride, and if you have any serious questions, try not being a willy on BMX-Forum and you might get somewhere. Apparently I'm a moderator there too. It's a pretty good forum, just need an NMC section and less idiots.
  3. As it stands at the moment: Will update when completely finished.
  4. I tacked a 4ft pipe to my stuck-sprocket with a stick welder and clamped the wheel to the bench. Plenty of leverage to get it off.
  5. I could help... but what's in it for me?
  6. I used to run a set of nobby nics for the shit stuff, and racing ralphs for the dry stuff, or a front nobby nic with a rear racing ralph if it was borderline, back when I used to race. Can't fault them, but nobby nics are slow in the dry, and racing ralphs get squirmy in the mud. I can't remember what sizes I was running, but I always preferred a fatter front and thinner rear tyre. The thin side-wall version is also worth the extra cash if you run decent pressures and you care about rolling weight.
  7. welcome to portsmouth Uni halls. Don't worry, only another 30-odd weeks to go.
  8. That aint no rat bike. I don't think I have any photos of the rat chopper I built. 12" rear mag wheel, 27" front. 5'6" fork blades, seat from a ride-on lawnmower. Brakeless and freewheeling, so you had to drag your feet on the floor to slow down on hills. It was win
  9. One day, I'll come back down for a ride. Promise.
  10. Youtube Video -> Original Video
  11. I set our bathroom ceiling on fire trying to flame-thrower a moth with a deodorant can. I was nine. True story.
  12. When I was riding 24" on the leeson, I was rocking some 3" riser bars, a 90mm x 20 degree stem and a 10mm stacker with a king headset and pashley forks. The bars were in a very upright position, not leant forwards whatsoever. I don't know what dimensions this gives, but you can probably guess roughly. It felt really natural swapping between this and my deluxe with 8" united squad bars and an atilla Frontin' stem with a 5mm stacker.
  13. TT bike is looking fly. Egg beaters are awesome for the road. Not the most aero pedal ever, but they just feel right. Carbon disc wheel on the back soon. It's so good to ride.
  14. Back doesn't hurt at all. It's completely 100% comfortable. The distance between the bars and the seat makes it feel exactly the same as being on the drops on the normal bike. I was on the bull bars the whole way, so I guess I didn't really sit up.
  15. Gay: yes. Why do you think that? I did a quick 30mile loop this morning, all on country lanes and it was amazingly comfortable.
  16. i know someone selling a 350D for £100. mint condition, not used much. no lens.
  17. I'm in love. New pedals and close ratio cassette on the way. 1988 Harrison lo-pro in showroom condition. 700c rear, 24" front, all Reynolds 753. NOS Dura ace and campag throughout. The nicest vintage time trial bike I have ever ridden...
  18. If he isn't about,n he can't respond to messages. I've bever ghad any problems with him, but I live locally, so if there are any problems I can have a word.
  19. about 10 minutes ago I was on the verge of stealing money for petrol to drive down to portsmouth and see Charlie, but then I came over all sensible
  20. Fine then, I'll say it: You missed out the Boxx?
  21. Need new road bike. probably going to buy a lo pro tt frame and go from there.
