You're talking about modern geometry. They call it 'compact geometry', because the tendency is to have a shorter seat tube, relative to the top tube and rest of the geometry, and the top tube sloping down. With this geo, the idea is to have a fair bit of seatpost sticking out. The impression I get from the first post is that he's talking about an older stye, steel bike.

Is that 60cm seat tube? My LoPro is 59cm, and fits me perfectly with a 34" inside leg (6' overall) On a normal frame I'd be a 60cm, so it would be bordering on dangerous for you to ride this frame.

No, but I've started playing my bass about 2-3hours a day again over christmas. I pretty much haven't played at all since before uni. Feels good to be picking it up again. I haven't really forgotten anything, I think it's a case of building guitar-playing-muscles up again now. Tried the guitar too, but I don't have any desire to play it for some reason. might upload a little slap bass video later. I've not really been in this thread before, any other bass players?

Yeah, there's an awesome gun shop about 5 miles from where I live, so I'm going to go and talk to the guy in there. I used to buy fishing tackle there too. Thanks for the offers though. Anyone got any recommendation on specific guns to avoid or look out for? My budget's probably upto about £200, so nothing too flash, and I'd like to include a half-decent scope in that price if I can.
