I'm not really local but am in Portsmouth alot of weekends. Would be good to meet up with some people if anyone's around this thursday????

We don't tend to get too much trouble from Mr. Plod round our way. The last time was a couple of months back when they screeched to a halt in the car park by where we were riding and proceeded to ask us stupid questions like 'why we ride how we do' and, 'do we think it's clever to jump on benches?'. They didn't have any reason to bother us, just obviously had nothing better to do. I find it annoying how when we're doing nothing wrong we get shit from them and when we need them they're too busy! I had my bike stolen a while back- from inside my house but when I called them would they do anything... would they f**k! The police to me are like that kid at school who everyone took the piss out of behind his back and was nice to when he was about. I'll be polite, but only to avoid getting arrested for something like not having a bell attached to my handlebars.

Thanks for all your help! I ended up ignoring all of you and listening to my stomach. I had Chicken Dippers n Chips with a sh*tload of mayo. Bootifull!

Any university towns / cities always seem to be good, loads of big buildings and decent walls and gaps. Portsmouth's good whatever level of riding you're at and the scene is really good down there too. Plenty of steps and things to do if you're a beginner and big gaps and rails if you're a bit more confident. Cornwall must have some excellent natural stuff and even some decent hoppy townie stuff. As alot of people have said it does make a difference what sort of level you're at with your riding but watch some videos, get inspired and you'll be able to find loads of things that you never thought were there before- trust me! Have just found 'Colwith Trials Holidays' on the net, they do motorcycle trials holidays in Cornwall bt I'm sure they'd know of loads of places to ride. www.trialsholidays.co.uk

It's all about the Jockey Y fronts with grey socks and school shoes! Can't beat it!

I know people less than 5ft, i'd only do it if i knew i was confident enough, try standing up there without the bike. I used to do that and found it helped. Dont go too big too soon! and wear a helmet!! GOOD LUCK!

I'm in, the missiz lives in Southsea so I'm there pretty much all the time. How does £20 get shoes and the other bits? And Vans, Fat Face & Oakley... Really?????? Bit sceptical at the mo.
