  3. in my book the helmet generally gets launched... but once whilst out trail riding on hardtail i threw it down a huuuuuuge hill which cracked it but yes its my helmets that normally ge launched.
  4. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with a decently set up vee and some good pads, i ran an avid on my coust and it work really well. Considering the frame was set for maguras i picked up some maggie to vee mounts and did it that way, it ran ace so wouldnt rule out the vee option

  9. Hate to say it guys but i have previously posted saying im changing from Mod to Stock, so was there much point in bringing this up? But then again it does save me a post as i have today ridden the stock for the first time in Leicester, few teething problems but i wasnt the only one! Come to think of it i think we all had problems. Cheers to Jonny Mc, Krisboats and Boumsong for being patient . I shall get pics up of bike soon and maybe some riding pics if joe can drag himself from his sick bed. So yes i will speak with everyone soon Cheers Pagie

  15. Hi I've just made the move from 20" to 26"! Sold my t-pro on ebay the other week to be replaced by something new, which i wasnt to sure about. But today i got offered a deal by Joe Rothwell that i couldn't turn down, I have my old Coust frame back that i never built up but with a load of extra bits. Still need few bits like front wheel and stuff but shall soon be sorted i expect. Just asking for any advice from people who have made the move i have, like i have ridden 26" trials bikes in the past but never to much extent (i also ride a 26" mtb). So yes just thought id let you know and ill get some pics up when fully built. Cheers Chris
  16. Ye i must agree that is a cool video, hold old are you? you look quite small in the video, could be just camera. But otherwise good riding.
  17. Not a bad idea, but think when your out riding they will make your legs sweat bags. I used to do this when riding my hardtail on dirt because i used naff pedals the only downside was the amount my legs sweated.
  18. Ye just be polite and get on with it, but sometimes it can take time. I used to ride a T-Vee, still got it. Good bike to learn on. Anyways Good Luck Chris
  19. GU do look pretty beast to be fair and probably worth the wait. If they dont arrive for your date i know i'd be looking into gettin the A3 because most people seem to like them, so i'd look towards one of them if i was you
  20. Going to college to do sports studies and also be part of the colleges sports academy, but in the mean time ill be riding bikes and drinking beer!
  21. I would say that boosters do give you that little extra, i was running an Echo Control 4 bolt which kept my t-pro stiffer than normal. I won't be using it anymore cos ive changed bike so i've got to sell it pagie155@hotmail.co.uk
  22. Are there many trials riders around your area? if so get to know them, have goes on there bikes (i doubt they'll mind) find whats best for you, you can learn alot by trying different bikes.
  23. I must agree Troy Lee's are beast, i've got the xc gloves there light and thin but last for ages my last pair lasted about a year and my current ones are still going strong. Bit pricey at £20 but definatly worth it.
  24. Chain may be out of line, i had this problem. The click is just the chain on the cogs when its forced into line. You will most probably need a shorter length bb.
