Ive got an 07 python.... i run a viz! high rise stem and i find its perfect, may be worth considering.

i run vee on my 07 zoo! with new echo tyres.... i had the same problem but ive cable tied my cable that crosses over, but only with a little tension so it has no effect on the cable. May want to give that a try

Hey some good pics there i have noticed though that your front end is alot higher than the rear, try and keep the bike level whilst in the air if you can i found it easier to get tricks done like this. Also try throw some variations in 1 hand x-ups etc there all fun keep bouncing

Ive heard that GU are changing the geo on there frames, this being the reason why they discontinued this years. Not to sure if the new one will be out for 08 though.
