I weighed mine the other night , its 9.8 kilos which im quite happy with seeing as its a Zona. cheers Nile

Yeah , I did think it wasn't completley real as it does have that normal headset, although I do think Onza really should bring it back ! thanks for the help Nile

Hi , I've been wondering if there has been an update to Onzas 2000 model t-master. I used to ride one and felt if there was an updated version , it would be great. I mean , the onza t-mag is still in production but the t-master isn't. that was until i came across this picture... picture of the bike this apparently is a 't-master' but thats why i want to know if its legit can you tell me? if it does exist , can you tell me where to buy them as I havn't seen them for sale anywhere. cheers Nile

yeah , you could do it from the tap but you might have to change the water every 5-6 weeks so the iron in the water doesn't affect the seals, or alternatively you can buy de ironised water or distilled water as its more commonly known from places such as halfords. Then you won't have to worry about changing the water that often. cheers Nile

Hi , I've been runnin an ACS welded for some time now and thought it was a big improvement from the ever annoying aspect of most freewheels coming loose. I think its a great freewheel for the price and since having it , it hasn't skipped once. The catchpoints aint bad either so for me its ACS welded ***! However if tartybikes offered a welded version of the tensile freewheel I think that would be a good idea , as thats mainly what lets it down , it comes loose. cheers Nile

Hi My last bike was an Onza T-master - that was quite old, I think it was made in 2000 so it was about a 7 year old frame , although I stripped and poilished it and put some up to date parts on it cheers Nile
-
I had this problem but I bought a Zona Zip frame with a stripped bb shell for p*ss cheap and my solution was to wrap lots of PTFE tape round the bb and tighten that up , I then put a lot of loctite around the lips of the cups and Ive been riding it for a month and its fine, no loosning at all. But yeah, if the bike shop stripped your threads then they definitly should fix it for you , or if not get you a new frame. cheers, Nile

sorry mate , ive changed it now

I feel that an ACS welded from tartybikes is fine, I've been riding with it for the past two months and it hasn't skipped once. I have been riding on it quite hard expecting it to skip ,still nothing is wrong. Also its a great budget buy at 18 quid, but then again if your feeling flush then buy a ENO industrys freewheel as theyre completly rebuildable and tartybikes stock the spare parts So the best freewheel to get depends on how much you want to spend. cheers,Nile

Sorry mate , he's going to take all the wheels off so it doesn't move about so much , engaging the handbrake will do nothing! just thought i'd let you know...Nile

Hi , I have a Zona Zip and feel its a great bike to ride, so easy to pull some moves on. It was such a big improvement from my previous classic Onza T-master. The geometry is perfect and is quite a light frame. My setup at the moment weighs 9.5 kilos fully kitted out which is quite light. If I had the choice over the two bikes , the Zona would win everytime without question. cheers Nile

You see Joe , you should do a Maher and just get the lever blade , but use the correct side lever and not an upside down one like mahers cos it looks plop Nile

Hi , I would try Ebay as theres a few sets on there in decent condition if you felt like buying second hand , however racelines have been discontinued now for a few years so theres not many places where you can get them new, however there is a set on ebay that is brand new but shop soiled but they have silver levers not raceline ones, but it does have braided hosing. heres the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Magura-HS33-Silver-Y...1QQcmdZViewItem see what you think but I feel for the money its a deal. cheers ,Nile

Early Saracen MAD frames had box section tubing back in the day, frames like the 2003 mad team and earlier frames such as the x-tort. Nile

Tensiles all the way for me! I've had them for a year now and there's no problems what so ever, my mate has a middleburn and the non drive side crank arm rounded off at the pedal, after i saw this happen I didn't think a crank of this quality would do that so easily. Thats why I prefer tensiles as they have inserts for the pedal which can be replaced if rounded I run tensiles for a Mod bike but I would consider some middleburns when I move onto Stock. So overall in my opinion, it depends on what bike you ride, go for the Tensiles for a 20" and a middleburn for a 26" Nile

The main differences with the hs33 and the hs11 is the lever , the slave cylinders are the same, also the pure fact that the hs33 is much more powerful than hs11s , this is because the master cylinder on an hs33 is much larger than the hs11s ones which gives the hs33 more power. The hs11 lever bodies are made from plastic whereas the hs33 lever body is made from metal. Finally , the hs11 uses 3 finger brake levers and the hs33 uses 2 finger ones. hope I have helped you , Nile

The slave cylinders are the same however if you want to change it to an hs33 lever , u need to cut the barbed fitting off the hose at the lever on the hs11 , throw it away and slide a new olive onto the fresh cut hose and reinsert it back and screw the hose nut on (if u have a brand new lever , the olive and the nut will be included). Once this is done , its now an hs33! now you can be confident with your brake , well thats from my experience at least... hope I have helped , Nile

I feel the best place for a second hand bike is ebay as thats where I got my first bike from. Try tartybikes for a new one though , what bike are you looking to find and what is you budget as you can pick up a cheap Onza T-pro on ebay all the time Nile

My mate has got a Toxsin 1 , theyre nice frames with good geo and is so easy to get onto the back wheel. I definitely love the looks of it too , however at £279 for the frame , I feel you should save the extra money and get a ZOO! Pitbull as they look nicer! Although I don't think its worth £279 at all , but that may be because he payed 77quid for it off ebay! so if you do feel like buying one , go for it as they do ride nice. Nile

When i first started trials , I had a Saracen mad team super pro and that was great! ,Nile

Go for the ACS welded from tartybikes , its cheap and the catchpoints arnt that bad and do the job quite nicely , but i feel its a good freewheel if your on a budget , but make sure you get the welded version as the lockring tends to come loose after a while. However if your not on a budget , definitly go for the ENO freewheels, that sound great and the catchpoints are brilliant , also when theres a problem , tartybikes stock all spare parts for them! Im using the ACS welded at the moment and hasn't skipped once! Nile

My first trials bike was a Saracen mad team super pro and thought that was a great bike. My mates had missons , a reefer and a prodigy. However , mission do seem to make parts that don't seem to last, the bash fell off after a few days , he managed to brake his headset and because its a 1.5 headset , not exactly popular to find. Also , broke the bearings in the rear wheel and snapped the axle somehow, the prodigy uses 14mm axles which really don't help. I would definitly go for the saracens as they're cheap and look great especially the new ones. thanks , Nile
