  1. Is this happening with everyone? I thought it was just my laptop because they don't work for me either
  2. I think its definitlely a nice bike - its similar specced to my zona, if not mines got better parts and I wouldn't expect 850 for mine so I think the price is a bit too high - about 650 i'd say and its a great buy!
  3. You can finally change you sig! your now not looking for it - well done again for that one!
  4. So the bloke in that photo is Deng? If so - what a legend , hes done so much for trials.
  5. Im coming with my usual gang Should be a good turnout at this rate - lets just hope for decent weather!
  6. Mitch - Im sure using msn language won't get you validated any time soon But to you Tom, Yes it will be fine if not better as it will absorb the shock better as it would spread the load of the force. How did you lose the ones you had ? Did they casually just fall out ?
  7. Fantastic idea! Is it easier to do it this way or my way of using a piece a wood and a mallet? I mean in future should I do it with this method? does it take much force to turn the lockring so it pushes the cups in ?
  8. Set you brake up properly by setting the pads up square to the rim and set out just right, this distance is normally the size of a two pence coin - and wind your tpa all the way in and away you go. Providing you have decent grind pads or decent smooth pads, you should have a great brake!
  9. Tom can you boon yet ? use you guide to help eh? Nice guide dude - well done
  10. Good for you mate, I had my saracen trials bike stolen about a year and a half ago but still no sign of it. how did u get it back? did you just take it off him or did you tell the police who he was ?
  11. Well we could go on both days really so it would appeal to you as well mike...
  12. I should be coming... providing my leg has healed, - don't think i'll be doing much though as it may rip my stitches out. for the record if you don't know, i had an incident with a cage pedal and took a chunk out of my leg which was big and deep...had 4 stitches which was gay but i hope it heals within a week. Is this mitch francis may I ask ? See you there.. Nile
  13. Ive got one the back and love it, 2.6 inch gives a good feel as it just sucks up the drops. Pinch factor is not all that really, I got a pinch yestaday just about to do a drop gap and once on the lip of it....tisssss uh oh not a good situation to be in. But yeah a good tyre and feel its better than my old maxxis one.
  14. When my me and my local lot started trials, everyone was on missions , t-birds and t-vees and they all had thoses dreaded cranks! my mate (sheehan) managed to strip his threads on his bike the day he got it, and everyone in the group at some point rounded the cranks off! They are so bad, why do onza make such poor parts? the metal is like cheese so you have to keep an eye on pedals coming loose or crank bolts coming loose. I upgraded to tensiles and absolutly hate onza cranks!
  15. I agree, in Southend we've been lucky with the weather as it seems to not be able to make its mind up about raining or being sunny- luckily it stayed sunny for the afternoon and let us do some riding! Still, doing rails in the rain could be a great experience... but i'd prefer it in the dry as its just that bit safer - i'd hope you would agree. The storm is annoying for everyone, just can't wait for the proper summer to arrive!
  16. Ive got a Fujitsu siemens amilo m1450g...its just any laptop
  17. Is there any reason for this topic? You've made exactly the same one further down the page!
  18. If you want to do a decent job the DIY way and not fork out for the proper wheel build stand and not use your frame, may I suggest my way of doing it? Well all you need is a few things, I went to my shed and found my trusty workmate. I took it out, blew the dust of it and set to work. All I did was Build the wheel on my lap and then trued it by putting the wheel in the workmate so that the 2 bits of wood on my work mate clamped onto the axle of my hub. Now the wheel is locked in and free to spin, we can clearly see if a buckle is present, to get the truing perfect, just use rods, I used old spokes taped down and move them closer each time you turn the nipples to make the rim true. I found this to be the best way to build a wheel and has definitly made me think twice about buying a proper one, you may think im being cheap but thats DIY for you! And whats good is it does all wheel sizes due to the size of the wood clamps on the workmate!
  19. Yeah man, Looks like im going to have bust out my crew down to where its at. Remember mike, theres no need to throw your bike of a wall if it breaks but hey, seeya there Nile
  20. Ive got a Hope mono trials and feel its much better than my mates louise, the hope has better lock but I have to say the louise has better modulation - but then again the louise is not a trials specific brake so you wouldn't really expect that. But overall go for the hope as its a better brake in my opinion. Nile
  21. It normally effects how light the front end is, because standard onza bars and stems are very heavy compared to what I upgraded to, soon as you upgrade you will notice a change and wider bars would make it easier to do some trials moves as it gives better leverage. I went from standard onza t-vee bar and stem to a Try-all yourself replica and try-all stem and felt a change in my riding. Definitly upgrade!
  22. Ive always used Halfords chain tools - think its a bikehut one , I snapped the original model of it and bought the newer one and bin fine for about 2 years so its good I suppose and for 7quid not bad at all - however Its a relativly small tool which means big chunky chains won't fit in it so it lines up with the lever pin.
  23. Nice bike mate , was just wonderin - what forks are you using? cheers Nile
  24. I learnt that hoping of a 7ft wall and my rear axel snaps just after I give it the kick... is not a good situation to be in.
