  1. I found that the creepy crawler gave great grip and wear life but I bought the new echo rim and was slightly big for the rim so kept on falling off or bulging which was not good. So i was forced to buy the monty tyre as it was a specific 19" tyre and the grip is fantastic but i've had far more pinches than when i was running the creepy crawler but I still think the monty is slightly better in my mind.
  2. If this hasn't been mentioned before, I always use msn to send files to my computer from my laptop - all you need is two email adresses and go on from there - it may longer than other methods but does work
  3. I voted for Rimjam v3 pads - they've been a bit of a bugger for me since I bought them as ive snapped about 4 cylinders due to the backings but ive now cut , shaped and stuck them into powerpad backings and now theyre great. I voted for them as they feel in my opinion the best compound and are better than my old pads, which were koxx yellows
  4. That vids been seen by most riders now - it happened in southend-on-sea near the cliffs pavillion a good few years ago - its even been taken and shown on programs such as 'you've been framed' and kirsty's home videos' which means some dudes earned themselves some cash!
  5. I'm going to bust it along to this seeing as sheehans going - might have to crank out the shorts
  6. Or more along the lines of the 2d trials game '26 biketrial' but if you use the search and/or look around chit chat - you will find the link to it
  7. I used to wear shorts all the time but kept on shin and knee digging myself on the pedals so I thought wearing trousers would give better protection and now I wear them all the time. I just wear anyguy t-shirts as well 'cos im cool
  8. Mine is: brake:Hope mono trial rotor: Magura rotor size:180mm brake pad: standard hope ones Not bad brake, did have a slight problem with it by contaminating the pads a few weeks ago but that was my fault so you can't blame the brake - still a great setup for a mod
  9. wasn't the 07 and previous frames built so that they were 'shock absorbing frames' does this new shape and style still carry this factor?
  10. Erm You shudn't really give a disk a water bleed but when I had my julie running I did use water and found that when I bath/sink bleeds I always seem to get fluid/water above the rubber diapham and meant it was leaking through the breathing hole. So to stop this, take the resivoir cap off and remove the diaphram from the cap and fill the resivoir up to the top. Then slowly put the diapham on, making sure no air is present and there should be some overflow. This should be air free and then the resivoir cap is ready to be screwed back on - however you have to make sure that little hole is clear to remove any crap from it so it can 'breathe' after doing this try it and it should be working fine
  11. Mitch are you sure you have forgotten your password ? or are you entering your username instead of your email adress? because I did this when it first changed and I thought someone hacked my account !- then I actually read what it said and put my email in and bingo I was in! however on topic, im still coming , so is SHEEHAN , and the naughty 20inchsuperstar(matt purdan) and his lil crew(Y) see you all there
  12. Ahhh I see, well were out both days anyway Joe, even though the 'ride' is on the sunday some people will be out for saturday as well
  13. You have a Koxx Cassio? well come out this saturday to show it off then!!! Anyways, on topic - I'm not that much of a fan of koxxs' anymore as they are comp frames and when you get it you want to ride street all the time so run the risk of snapping, cracking ,popping your bike
  14. Round my southend way, it all depends on where you ride there. I ride all around southend and have only received 2 tickets and that was just riding down the seafront but I expect i'll get more in the future seeing as they don't do anything
  15. Yeah I will be up for it now I have new pedals! so I will be up for most stuff now and my Leg should be healed by then. Sheehan - I would love to go with you but we need to leave by about 7 as we to meet tom and co at the train station Looking forward to it and hope for better weather!
  16. I don't mean to be rude but this has been the millionth (spell?) time a pad topic has come up! But still I would go for the Coust pad with the Heatsink CNC backings as they are just the sex - and once my gay Rimjams have seen better days - they'll be the next ones, but i do have to think twice about them as they cost 34 pound posted! Oh and just to add - Tartybikes have a vast range of pads and if you do dancy the heatsinks theyre from - heatsinkbikes.com(Y)
  17. Nice bike mate, I was thinking of buying the new GU as I think they look so much better than the older ones. Do you know or does anyone know if they ride better than the previous ones? Black frames goes well with the blue theme - I love it !
  18. Yeah ok thats fine, We will start at victoria avenue then work our way down the local route towards the seafront which is the norm of southend rides! But yeah 930 seems a bit early but normally people drift in during the day but because I live a 3 minute ride from victoria station so should be there at 930 to keep you company! See you there Nile
  19. hey reece, try riding mahers zenith and see what you feel with the ratio on that - his is 16:14 I think thats going to be the best for you ta , Nile
  20. Erm , just wondering if this has affected all of us or what but me and some of my local and other people couldn't get on the trials forum site for a while so just wondering if was just our lot or what ?
  21. yep, I second that - great ride with many talented people shame about the weather though but luckily it cleared later on in the day! Braintree lot next week?
  22. Wicked - i'll be there , lets just hope for decent weather!
  23. Well I slipped off the pedals while backwheeling a wall and the pedals took a large chunk out of my knee. When I looked down at my knee, I saw a hole! So I ended up goin to A and E to have it stitched and now I have 4 stitches in my knee! Luckily thats my only injury worth mentioning although I seem to scrape my shins and knees every time I ride.
  24. So is anyone still going to go to the 23rd june ride? I mean, my lot will still ride so the 23rd should still go ahead for the people who CAN make it.
  25. Is there a train station in basildon ?
