  1. gutted mate, you did well not to become a woman beater. i'd of said report it but if you've left it this long probably not much point. if it was lads it would be more understandable, as-well as alot more discusting, its totally shite (understatement) how a group of lasses can be like that. anyway sounds like you did well to keep cool so good on you. B)
  2. fair enough if it's fake, better safe than sorry i guess B)
  3. My mum brought back some letters from work today sent out by a police force about a HIV warning. I typed it up so please read as it's kinda important: ----Forwarded---- Friends, This message is serious and has been passed to us from Cheshire RFU.. Could you please cascade as quickly as possible as this came through our NHS web page. For your information, a couple of weeks ago, in the Odeon cinema, Festival Park, a person sat on something sharp in one of the seats. When she stood up to see what it was, a needle was found poking through the seat with an attached note saying, “You have been infected with HIV”. The Centres for Disease Control in Birmingham, reports similar events have taken places in several other cities recently. All of the needles tested have been found positive for HIV. The CDC also reports that needles have been found in coin return areas of payphones and coke machines. Everyone is asked to use extreme caution when confronted with these types of situations. All public chairs should be thoroughly but safely inspected prior to any use. A through visual inspection is considered the bare minimum. Further more, they ask that everyone notify their family members and friends of the potential dangers, as well. The previous information was sent from Hanley police station to all of the local councils in the Staffs area and was interdepartmentally dispersed. We were all asked to pass this to as many people as possible. Some of you may already know, but i thought i'd spread the word anyway. :ermm:
  4. hmm, well again, from the best of my knowledge i think montys all use Aheadsets, which i always thought was a kinda cross between an internal headset and a standard one. You'll deffinatly need a new one, but don't buy one yet until someone else has confirmed the sort you need. :ermm:
  5. i'm not great with headsets but i'd deffinatly say no. you got an internal zero stack headset there, where as i THINK you're going to need a standard 1/18 headset for the new frame. There's also anotehr kind that my brother has on his t-master but i can't remember the name of that one. if you tell us what frame it is someone will know for sure what you need.
  6. aww but i secretly want to be a borrower and ride a finger bike and use a thimble as a helmet :ermm:
  7. try putting them on and sitting in the bath, there might be more to it than that but i'm sure i've seen that done before. And at least that way the waist will be the right size, either that or it'll crush your pelvis and you'll be forced to drown yourself to stop the agony. :ermm: :-
  8. hmm good point, but to me it didn't even look like he was straining. Obviously it's some of his best riding or he wouldn't of put it in, but it certainly didn't look forced or sketchy. i think everyone could go that huge and more, but at a certain level it becomes mental rather than technical or purley down to strenght. think about how sometimes you go out and improve loads, you have the confidence to just go for stuff you wouldn't normally and you pull really technical lines or massive ones with ease, then you might bail a couple of days later and be nowhere near where you were before. Youre still good, but you just don't wanna risk it. Guess if you love the sport enough you'll risk anything for it, and hugeness is the end result.

    Picture War

    thats an edward LOL
  12. average in my book, and just another thing to break on the already delicate ishod. plus videos on the go aren't as great as they sound, maybe the odd trials vid or maybe a family guy episode might be handy now and again, but from my experience (psp) you just wanna chill to music on a journey rather than skwint at a tiny screen.

    Wow New Trick

spin the cranks and you got yourself a crankflip (Y)
  14. It wouldn't 'technically' be a stock bike if it had horizontal dropouts, it would be a mod with 26" wheels. It would be cool to see though, and give stock riders more options/choices, but i can't see it happening because of the attitudes of a lot of riders who would like to see the sport remain more traditional. The only way it would ever happen imo, would be for a comapny like Onza to pioneer it and maybe make a 'stock'/large mod bike, then maybe see if other companies follow suite. I doubt most stock riders would wanna loose their tensioner/mech anyway, its kinda what defines it as a stock bike.

  16. careful monkey, almost sounding like a trials rider there. and i only contribute if the present is obviously too much, it totally depends on what it is. If it's say, a £500 bike, i would prehaps pay half so they are spending £250, but if it was a £250 camera, i would still pay half.
  17. is that like an 'all in one' bundle thingy? got a link so i can check it out?
  18. if you post it up and say what you want doing i'm sure someone will photoshop it for you.
  19. you sure you're turning it the rigth way, pedals have opposite threads you know, to make sure they don't come off when you're pedaling. from memory i think the right hand pedal is regular thread, where as the left is opposite
  20. take the brake off again, clean the pistons with something like wd40, make sure the plastic grips are both in the same place on both cylinders and that they are straight and not buggered. (with the tpa wound all the way out) Re-attach the brake tight enough to stay straight, but loose enough to move with your fingers. Now line the pads up with the rim so you have a few mm between the rim and the pad, then hold each cylinder in turn and tighten it up and much as you can, be careful not to over tighten and strip you're threads though. Still making sure the plastic grips are nice and striaght and not bent/trapped/broken. Now adjust the tpa a little bit and keep pressing the lever to make sure the cyclenders are moving out equally. Basically i suspect either your cyclinders are dirty and won't retract all the way, or you're not tightening the bolts up enough. Also if you're a complete newb (which i doubt seeing as you're building up a new frame) make sure your magura clamps are the right way round
  21. not a philosophie more a quote from shawshank, and its also a song name get busy living, or get busy dying. it's a beast. as for the ryan leech thing on page one, at work we have loads of 'motivational' posters, such as, "its takes years to find a customer, but just seconds to loose one" and one is "sucess is a journey, not a destination", not life you foo! imo, philosophical sayings are just used by dumb people so make them sound clever.
  22. from what i've seen, you're smoother, but he goes bigger, its marginal though. just agree to disagree and embrace the trials love  :) i'm gonna vote for you becasue i'd rather see smooth that size. (Y) ;) both of you are f'in impressive though.
  23. if you go to the link hornblasters it's an actual install. probably break my car apart if i had a horn that loud, or just force me in the opposite direction,
