shit hot. one of the ups looked about 5ft! ;)
-
looks to me like koxx are fixing something that wasn't broken. i'd sooner ride a bob the builder themed kiddies bike in a major competition broadcast on worldwide television than that acid drop. And as for the wasp, ;)
-
try doing that with parkinsons.
-
yeh there are a lot of good ones, guess i should of said 'the majority'. People just need to take their time and develop their own style instead of trying to cash in on already popular ones.
-
no-one derserves to have their riding put down, we were all at a low level (and still are in some cases) at some point, trials should be about fun, not highest tap/sidehop, although those are always enjoyable to watch. However,... if someone is riding small, or slow they shouldn't try and hype it up with stupidly fast, over the top, "help i'm having a fit" music. Or if they do, they should edit to the song, rather than stick all their clips on the timeline and wack a song over the top, hoping it'll come out like a CLS video or something. If someone really wants to do that, and they release the video with stupid music and half assed editing, then fair enough, but at least be prepared to take a slaiting by people who don't like it. If you put some media out there, accept that you can't please everyone. Whilst i'm here, what is the actual attraction of songs with constant screaming/shouting in them? Fair enough have maybe one or too shouts (i accept people can get lost in their music) but entire verses just screamed like the singer is in pain or something, it sounds stupid and is really really annoying. If a band is gonna sing, they could at least make it so the listener knows what the hell they're on about, otherwise just have a blank track.

that was soo badass, why aren't trials videos edited with as much style and effort. BMX videos are the holy grail. No stupid shouty music, no shitty camerawork, some laughs, some spills, some seriously badass riding. love it. ;)

i hope you lose an eye,....or a bollock.

i hate halloween, sometimes i wish it was real so that demons would come and eat everyone that eggs houses and shit, trick or treaters are fine with me as-long as they are under 7 and are dressed up, 18 chavs with 1 mask bewteen them asking for booze or they'll "egg our car innit" piss me off. I just wanna grab their silly string and get super silly down their throats until they choke.
-
beastin'. way better than average video there, you should be chuffed. :ermm:
-
i beat it with no right click, I OWNED YOU IDIOT CHALLENGE! :ermm:
-
why you wanna avoid ebay? i get my Hp ones off there forabout £12 a pop £24+ in the shops. (Y)
-
hahaha some people are so stupid... as for the site, pretty damn funny, especially when you go for a jam sesh with the demon and you just randomly press loads of keys but it comes out sounding ace. (Y) Rich *thinking he's a guitar legend now*
-
hahaha exactly what i was thinking about half way through, right after my ears fell off. Seriously, that band is so anal leakage it's untrue. Some really good riding in there though, and well put together so you gradually got better throughout, ending with the good stuff. Think i saw some of your stills on TN a week or so ago and looked good then too. (N) Keep at it.

Fair enough mate, if you like the clothes, then seriously wear what you like. But be prepared to be steriotyped for doing so. Everyone judges everyone else on apperance, no matter what they tell you, it's just human insitinct, and if a certain style is overly associated with a certain 'activity', then it sticks, for a very long time. You proved it yourself in the orginal post by calling a certian image a 'sweaty', nomatter what you feel, you too do the sterio-typing. The clothes may suite you as far as comfort is concerned, but i bet they also make you feel a certain way, i can almost garantee you also wear those clothes BECAUSE of the image they hold, and it almost gives you and your mates a kind of sheild or protection because for most people, the chav image is an intimidating one. I personaly can't wear trackies anymore, simple becuase i don't want people to think about me a certain way. I own trackies, and i wore them when i was younger, but nowadays they have a stigma attached which i couldn't stand to be associted with. anyway, just take it as it goes, and hopefully younger 'chavs' will follow your groups role model, instead of the rocky geeza. But also remember to not pigion hole 'skaters' or 'moshers' or 'hippies' or 'trendys' straight off. And by the way, the one thing that i actually admire about 'chavs' is there courage. They may vent it on the wrong people, for the wrong reasons, but sometimes i'm almost proud that the UK has people who'll stick up for themselves. only sometimes though.

No, it wasn't a troublemaker in a stripy jumper, and trackies, it was just an unsociable, un-educated person. Unfortunatly for you lot, these people on the whole choose to wear trackies, stripey jumpers, nike shoxx, classic reboks, a ben sherman coat 3 times to big, stupid hat, the list goes on... Therefore the word CHAV has become almost entirely associated with that type of clothing. You can complain all you like, but thats the way the majority of societly see it now, and the only way to avoid such comments is to change your sense of 'style'. You may find it offensive, and perhaps hurtful, but you choose to bring it on yourselves by dressing the way you do. There must be a reason you choose those clothes in the first place? there will of been a time when you wore more than just trackies and coats. You might not admit it, or even know it, but either subconciously, or of your own will you've bought into the 'cahv' image, and you dress the way you do becasue of the image it potrays. You could quite easily wear a regular pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and more than 2 styles of shoe, but you don't. It's your choice, and you face the concequences for it. Pigeon holing may be unfair, (black and jews have been fighting shit like that for ever) but at least you can change you appearance and avoid the slating, IF it actually bothers you that much. Oh and feeding a bum doesn't make you a great anti-chav, if you care so much why not let him stay in your houses? And before you get all touchy, i know my post sounds offensive and like i'm trying to start something, i'm 100% not, i'm just telling it the way it is, in the same way you told it the way it is on your side.

TV ain't even ready yet, never mine the internet. too many people adapt far to slow (in the UK especially) for videos to be HD. Theres people on here who are still using 56k "it's fine for what i need" they say, yet they are the first to complain about poor web hosting and large file sizes. I'm ready for HD, if only i could afford the equipment to use it. But on the whole, no-one is any where near ready, and won't be for another 2-4 years. (america's new deadline for full HD television is April 2009 i think) and the UK is always a year or so behind.
-
chav is the behavour, not the clothing, "Chav is a derogatory slang term in popular usage throughout the UK. It refers to a subculture stereotype of a person who is uneducated, uncultured and prone to antisocial or immoral behaviour." calling youself a chav makes you look nieve and even more stupid than the people you are talking about.

How Long Am I Gonna Be In This Nmc Thing For?
RicH_87 replied to Biff's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Lets just face it, Biff ain't ever getting re-validated even if he's perfect for the next 12 months. It might not be owlt personal against him but people on here never forgive and forget, ever, that's just the way it is. The one time i've riden with Biff i couldn't belive he was the Biff off here and TN cos i expected him to be a cocky asshole, however he came across as laid back and funny, alot more sociable than some other people i've come across. I'd say this topic is different to most validation topics, he was a member, then acted like a twat which i'm sure he'll admit and was punished for it. However i hate the fact members have come in here and voiced their opinion as-if he'll get validated if he acts 'properly' from now on. Its bullshit and everyone knows it. If he's not getting validated ever again, just tell him, don't just avoid the subject and bring up WHY he was pre-member-fied in the first place. And to the ACTUAL new-members, don't jump in here and pass comment on things you weren't here to see in the first place. It's obvious you're begging for validation by critising biff but it just makes you look even more stupid, it doesn't make you get noticed and it doesn't put you in the mods good books. Everyone just cut the pompus bullshit. -
loved the intro, although it had a strage edge to it, cool all the same. rest of the video was quite good too, some nice shots and decent riding. (Y)
