wow, that park is crazy. how insane was Daniel Dhers 360 barspin to late tailwhip? he didn't even kick he bike he just did a no footer and wanged it round with his arms... however, there was a hella lot of flairs and tailwhips in there.....flairs are so gay i don't know why people throw them after everything, and tailwhips, sweet though they are, are like the new barspin or something. i wanna see some huge tuck no hander transfers or 3 story high wall taps, i spotted a sweet gap from that huge run-in, over the pyramid type thing to that little subbox on the other side, its huge, but these are supposed to be the best riders in the world. I also noticed that morgan wade was the only dude to do a grind. (plus he's stolen Bongo bike ) Anyone know if Dave Mirra was still too injured to compete in park? i know he missed vert becasue he impailed his liver or something. I am actually dissapointed not to see him this year, i know it got kinda tierd when he won everything but i think it made the other riders step up their game, knowing that to win, they have to beat mirra, i.e they have to be flawless.

Just finished watching it and thought it was ace. typical feel good film, loved the little italian forklift type thing, so funny. really is worth a watch, haven't seen a 'kids' film in ages so made a nice change to the typical rubbish the cinema spews out nowadays.

component cables are ok so you'll be happy enough, just my brother forced me into getting vga and i have to say i did notice the difference. shame there are NO decent games AT ALL to enjoy with it. anyway, as for the dvds, i don't watch many really, so i can't coment as an expert or anything. I did watch kiss kiss, bang bang the other day and Sin city and they both looked amazing, espcially sin city, there was no weird pixilation or anything. I've never run a standard dvd player through it but i would expect it too look a bit messed up if you were sat really near. Put it this way, running dvds through xbox using any form of hd cable will certainly be better than using a standard dvd player and a scart cable. One thing i have noticed is that with a few dvds, they don't get scaled up to widescreen, they are shown in regular 4:3 with two massive black areas either side.

Samsung 32" LCD HDTV, I bought it december last year for £822 for the same reason as you, just so i could play my 360 the way it's supposed to be played. Its been f**king immense, the picture quality is amazing. I don't even really use my 360 anymore but i'm still so glad i bought it. Whenever i'm sat watching it i just think about how nice it is and how lucky i am to own it (i used to dream of owning a 32" tv becasue my mum and dad have never had anything over 24"). Anyway Olly, if you haven't already, i FULLY recommend you buy the official VGA cable for xbox (if your tv has vga input of course). People say the difference isn't noticable between VGA and Component, but imo i really really is. The extra £20 or whatever is well worth it, seeing as though you are spending over a grand on the tv. I stress you get the official one, as my brother has an aftermarket vga cable and it's no where near as nice as mine. Anyway, nice tv, you're lucky to get a sony, they are easily still the leaders for picture quality.

can't remember really, think there is a golf r32 in there somewhere, much rather have the skyline r32 though.....oh and lets not forget the crx. if you choose asia you can still buy certain cars from other continents, it doesn't mean you can ONLY buy jap cars or whatever you can still get tvrs, jags, certain mustangs etc, but there will be certain high end cars you can't get, like the enzo for example. If you have live you can go online and trade cars anyway if you really want certain ones.

good find, make sure you pic asia at the start. you get to choose from europe, america or asia, and which one you choose decides which cars you can and can't buy later in the game. imo asia is the best cos you can get the skylines and stuff to modify.

yeh forza by mile. pgr is good, but you can customize almost everything in forza, good selection of cars too.

do you run a buisiness though? or an office? or even own more than one computer? think about just how many windows/microsoft based systems are in the world, then compaire that too how many people you know on a forum, that decided to buy an overpriced ibook instead of a thinkpad. the world pretty much runs on windows, sure a few places use linux for security reasons and i've heard that macs are used for a decent amount of design work, but i can still garantee somewhere a long the line there is a microsoft based system in there. if windows didn't work, everyone in the world would use something else, they don't, and they haven't for over 25 years, and i can't see anyone coming close to matching them within at least next 25 years.

who cares if voice recognition doesn't work? why the hell are they even developing it? is the keyboard to perfect or something? i guess you'll all say it's for people with no hands, but how would those people open word in the firstplace? or put on the mic? or even turn on their pc? this is just another lame reason for cyber anoracs to have a dig at microsoft some more, people need to grow up and remember how much they actulaly get right. if microsoft products really didn't work, people would of found a better alternative by now, purley out of necessicity.
