They are life or death. GCSE's prove to people you can actually be relied on to do the bare minumum in life. GCSE's are easy, if you can't do those, then you pretty much can't do anything. If you were an employer, and someone applied for a job who couldn't wire up a plug, do simple equations or write a couple of pages about a book, why on earth would you expect them to work well for you. college ain't shit to be fair, education is all about proof that you can do things that you are expected to do. The end result is a JOB, it ain't college, or university. Good luck peeps for tomorrow, my brother is getting his, so i hope he gets at least some D's. (he's a slacker).
