ahh ok no worries then. i suspected you had something else running to alter the menus, but wondered if the theme was separate or not. ta.

am i the only one that gets freaked out when men talk about tv drama's and actually know the characters names?
-
haha dude that's not cool! you are close though actually. man that picture is so 90's
-
do most of you know you've got it set to 'private'. i.e no one can actually see your pages without adding you.

personally i think ratty vw's should only be authentic. i.e don't rust panels on purpose just for the look. the only charm about the 'rat look' is that it's 100% authentic and a result of untouched wear and tear. Its like buying a new pair of trainers and jumping in a muddy puddle, they just look a mess, not like a faithful 10 year old pair. still think the porsche wheels look good though. also good place to post this... haha this is random, but does anyone remember TYCO? a company that made r/c cars for kids under like 10 years old? anyway, they used to make each car in two colours, one would have fluro orange/pink bits and the other would have fluro yellow bits, and me and my mate had the same car except we had reversed colours, and it reminds me of that so much. haha yeh, i said it was random... nice bikes though, well worth the wait i assume.

^^^ yeh get daemon tools, its like a 'pretend' dvd drive, so you just mount the image on the drive and it'll let you open the file in any media player pretty much (though i recommend you get VLC player too, becasue it'll play anything).

yeh man, my work does this with either your shop or chevin cycles. i have a bike already though, and i prefer to drive cos its warmer. haha. but yeh they are good schemes. no tax on bikes full stop is a good idea though, although it won't make more people cycle rather than use a car or whatever, mainly because you can get (shit) bikes for like £70 anyway if you really wanted, so if people actually wanted to cycle, it isn't the price that's putting them off.

http://www.myspace.com/rickytalent i don't really use myspace much in the conventional way, i just have it as something to play with when i'm bored. i've only added people i actually know and like/liked because i'm so bitter, but if you feel the need to add me then i won't say no.

boondock saints is a good film, although i'm really not religious it has some amazing quotes, and i personally like the idea.... i watched clerks 1 and 2 the other day but wasn't that impressed really, i can see the appeal but they just didn't make me laugh out loud. also i'm currently downloading empire records, i remember watching it ages and ages ago and thinking it was so cool.

i'm pretty sure they are written by an american, which explains both the incorrect grammar and the only actual fact, that they are all not real facts.

Edinburgh Ride - Oh Lord You've Gotta Keep The Faith...

most excellent. -
i was really impressed by this video. Its pretty amazing how good you are after just two years, you are going big on a lot of moves but unlike a lot of the more well known riders you seem a lot more controlled and relaxed, almost like you aren't really trying. i think you have a great style, and from when i've ridden with you (seems ages ago now) i know you've started from the ground and worked your way up. rather than trying to go huge straight off, which really has paid off imo. i think you suited mod better, but you're riding is great on stock anyway, so stick with what you prefer. seriously keep it up, i think your next video could be something really really good. my one tip would be try and do more lines though. You have the control to keep a whole line together, which will make the difference between a good rider, and a great one.

this isn't a band i've just got into, i've listened to them for well over a year or so now, but i think they deserve more recognition than they get. I realise some of you lot will probably have at least heard of them, but for those that haven't have a listen. i've listened to them pretty much on repeat for the last couple of weeks, and listen to one of their albums at least once every week. anyway yeh, british band, hundred reasons, check out their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/hundredreasons and if you like what you hear go buy their records.

i'm the one on the right, i guess.

--> QUOTE(b @ Feb 9 2007, 05:33 PM) ←Im getting a 1995 1.2 renault clio. A friend of mine has one and he says its great, pretty cheap on insurance too, which is always nice.. Think you can pick one up for around 700ish, look in the auto trader and on ebay, theres loooaaads. Good luck! Aaron. i've had a '94 1.2 clio for two years now, and i'll agree, it's been ok, but adding it up i've probably spent £600 on top of the £600 i paid for it. so imo, don't buy one, and certainly not for more than £600. Mines got 77,000ish on the clock, new wheel bearings, new brakes, new air filter, new distributor cap, new spark plugs, oil and filter changed 3 times in the two years i've had it, and i had the timing done and re-tuned last year. it's in fairly good condition except for the clutch, and i'm only expecting to get £200-£400 for it. ---- as they said, stay away from french cars if you are looking for CHEAP and RELIABLE. French cars are either cheap and expensive to maintain, or reliable but expensive as a result. basically, they are expensive. get either a polo, a micra or a fiesta. polos are reliable but probably more expensive than the others. micras are reliable and cheap but ugly as sin. and fiestas are cheap and easy peasy to fix, but are kinda dull.

1* yeh ok it was just a stupid dig really. just that, almost every single mac advert i see, is a petty dig at windows, and basically it has something fit/pretty/good looking representing mac. I was just making a joke based on how Mac's are portrayed by them self. I still don't think it has anything over xp though. 2* I agree, you don't wanna use anything that looks cheap/ugly on a regular basis, but at the same time, surely you wouldn't replace your beige working toaster, just so you could have a stainless steal one? Its a waste of money. If you genuinely need to upgrade, and it happens to look pretty too, then fair enough, but almost everyone i've spoken to, or every article i've read about vista, the first thing they have said is, "it looks really good".....well great, i bought a ferrari and it looks really good too, but unfortunately it hasn't got an engine.... 3* i can see your point here, but in my case i usually buy plain fruit of the loom, or band t shirts. i don't agree with paying to advertise, although i do own a fair few branded t shirts i've been given. my post probably sounds hostile which isn't at all what i want. Basically, i can't get my head round why anyone would buy an inferior/unnecessary product that looks nice, over one that actually works, is form over function really that important??? sorry but i can only think of ipods as a comparison. almost everyone has an ipod....why? because of how it looks. before ipods the majority of people didn't even know what an mp3 file was, never mind own an mp3 player. Suddenly, ipods are cool, so i'll buy one as a fashion accessory, and suddenly i'm the worlds biggest music fan. If it wasn't for ipods, i don't think many people would even have an mp3 player at all. so why buy something you wouldn't otherwise get, just because it looks nice?
