  1. Personally, I like 20". I ride alot of BMX, and switching to different wheel sizes just feels weird.
  2. I for one dont follow them, now will I ever enter one. But I believe it does help the sport out, people may watch them and become intrested and start riding. Just like what the Xgames and whatnot does for BMX. It's not exactly what BMXing is about, but people see it and start to try and copy it. They are also good to watch and pick up a few tricks, learn a few things. Y'know, to get ideas from.
  3. The Odyssey rim strips are a kinda purpley color, you might want to give them a shot. http://www.danscomp.com/449020.php I run them on my BMX and they look great, plus they keep the spokes out .
  4. I'm new here; Jason222 referred me to this forum and said it was a good one. So I decided to try it out. A little bit of history here, I used to do trials before as a hobby while I was mountain biking, sort of like a side hobby. I was never really good at it but really enjoyed it. I owned a GT Team Trials, I’m not sure of the year but it was the silver model (1997?). One day while I was bouldering I came down on a piece of shale, hard, and put a nasty dent in the chainstay, which didn’t take long to turn into a bad crack. I searched for a new frame and could not find one for a decent price, as I needed most of my money for my downhill bikes. After all, trials weren’t my priority. After I couldn’t find a frame for a decent price I sold it to a fellow from school for a parts bike. And that was the end of trials riding for me, I continued to race downhill until I was injured. I had about 5 months of downtime while I was hurt, but had every intention of going back to riding. I used allot of the time to search for another bike but still didn’t come up with anything, so I built up an 'urban mountain bike' instead. While I was building it up my friend also wanted a hardtail or a bike he could throw around easier, but instead of building one he bought one. He ended up finding a (1998?) GT Team Trials, but never I rode it. I was pretty jealous but continued to ride my hardtail hard for a bit until I realized that (in my opinion) mountain bikes were made for the mountain, not the skate park. So I picked up a BMX instead and have been riding that hard ever since. Recently he sold me his GT, and I’m getting back into it. The bike is absolutely mint, hardly a scratch and no dents whatsoever. Completely stock to. These are the only pics I have at the moment, i'll get more later. And this continues to be my main ride, A full custom Macneil Heaton 2. And could a mod please change my name to wethepeople, I messed it up in the log in .
