  1. I was trying to be ironic, looks like a failed. Nice to see I get quoted, I may make more wide sweeping comments in the future.
  2. Is there any point in keeping score? I think it’s clear she is the only female trials rider ever, although I don’t fancy her chances of escaping her little black box. The Zoo was possible brand new when she fell in.
  3. All brake pads need to be bedded in from new. The way they are made leaves a glazed finish on the surface which needs to be taken off. Normally this is done though riding it for a bit. You can bed it in faster by riding with the brakes on, rubbing dirt on your discs or as I do use a bit abrasive paper. Best to use wet and dry paper. As for types of pads i only use the organic pads that are made by the brakes manufacture. All the after market brands tend to have a poor fit to enable them to fit in more than one brand of disk brake and the compound used fades more quickly.
