24" BMX Cruisers are well fun!!! Had one a few years ago and they are soo cool if you like your easy going riding and jumping, great for flowing through skateparks and dirt trails, yeah they are abit harder to do spinny tricks but if that doesnt bother you then they'll be fine.

Amazing piece of trials history. I believe that every noob that wants to start trials should watch that video and including revolution. I remember back in the day when that first came out, used to watch all the time before i went out riding, just totally inspiring.

To be honest, all this whinging about gears is sooooo petty. Its not hard to slap on a rear mech and a cassette plus once you get used to using gears you find you will actually use more than one thus maybe giving you an advantage over some sections?? And another thing adding gears to your bike doesn't really add much weight to your bike so i think should stop being such pussies and get on with it!! Also Biketrial and Biketrial UK or whatever the two governing bodies are at the moment in the UK should have their heads bashed together because its going to be very confusing and pointless and having TWO british champs this year. So overall my opinion at the moment about trials in general in the competition side of things is a load of bollocks! SORT IT OUT!!! Jake

What did Maggie Thatcher say about men with beards haha!!

agreed again haha!! sounds like something from a tv ad!!

Honestly, what would be the point in having having two different types of trial bikes if your just want to make them the same??? all thats different about them now is the size of wheel which makes it pointless to run two different categories so thats why im all for keeping the rule as it is, or if anything... scrap the two different categories and design one type of trials bike??? maybe that'd work?? just an idea though.

To be honest i wouldnt expect anything better than that from koxx, i find most of their parts quite quality and the quality of customer care is damn right shoddy too, although if you bought it from tartys, just explain your situation and im sure they'd be able to help some way, they're good blokes

Me and ads will be doing a folkestone/coastal ride on sunday if you wanna join in???

I currantly use Tryalls, haven't used any others but they seem fine to me, nice and light, take abit t o break in but once they have they are good. Very grippy too. For Tryalls

The short version of both Monty and koxx frames are the same length i believe. Don't really like any of the deng products really, just cant see the need to have lots of different named bike frames but all made by the same person, sounds abit like the Halfords of Trials haha! The Montys appeal alot though, They've been going since the start of BikeTrials and still to this day in my opinion make the best Trials frames out there.....And they paint their frames too so they actually look good

Hey Guys and Girls, At the moment i own a Koxx XTP 20" frame, i like the way it rides very much but im just wondering, when i go to college in september im not going to be able to spend like near £600 on another if i ever snap (prays to God i don't) so i've been looking at some cheaper alternatives and one being the Monty 221 pr. Just wanting to know what the frame is like in terms of strength, ridability and how it compares to the XTP. Looking forward to your comments. Cheers, Jake

Yeah, gloves for the win in my opinion, cant ride without them really unless its summer then i try and ride without then because i hate the tan line you get hahaha!!! And the fact that my hands get well sweaty and loose grip on the bars, should invest foamies for the summer..... Wise choice???

Hmmmmmm i don't know, to me i'd feel it'd ride really wafty (yes i'm making up words) don't think it'd catch on and i'd personally wouldnt want to ride down the street on it anyway, i get laughed at enough just for not having a seat!!

Hello Guys and Girls, Now, time for a more meaningful topic. I've been thinking alot lately about the current state of trials and where it's going, for example: how the change from an ATB trials went to a more specific trials orientated setup and where/when the next big step is going to be. Plus also the look of the average trials rider, i remember back in the day (About 5-6 years ago) it didnt matter what you wore when you was out riding. Now Kids have taken to trackies and such other clothing which in my opinion looks horrid and doesn't look all that attractive to the average joe. So..... The question being, where do you think trials will head next in terms of changes in setup, different styles of moves etc. And what do you think on the current "trend" of trackies whilst riding and do you think it would the help the sport as a whole if we all looked abit cooler??? Looking forward to hearing your posts, Jake

Hey there, your best wouldprobably be ebay or www.tartybikes.co.uk, i'd personal get one from tartys as they will be brand new, competitively priced and are really helpful aswell as having a good, quick delivery system too
-
Hey there, I use the Tryall replica bars and i find them very comfortable, nice and wide too
-
It all depends on Personal preferance really, i could say high BB to you but then you may not like it. Best thing to do is ride other people's bike (as long as your nice to them) and find out what feels good for you and what doesn't. Hope this helps. Jake
