My worst stack was when my foot rolled off the front of my pedal and i fell back about 4 foot onto my head and pelvis, resulting in no damage to head but a cracked pelvis. My biggest fear is sidehops after when i was learning them i slipped off sideways and removed a lot of skin from my side. Andy B

I snapped a set of brisa forks by the maggie mounts but was running a disc at the time. I tried to spin the bike on the front wheel and my bike got quite a lot shorter. Andy B

Without a doubt i would get a complete koxx xtp2 long and a boxx. Also a kamel 20" and 26" would be nice. Would probably go motorbike shopping first though, Desmosedici RR all the way. Andy B

Weight aint featherlight thats for sure, but im using heavy foks pedals and still got a bashring on as it wont come off. Even with all those its 9.4 kg, im aiming for 8.5 once i change some parts. Reason bits dont match is i just took all the bits off my old bike and dont have enough cash for the replacements yet, the frame caned me for enough. Andy B

I would say try all tyres are definitely worth it, if you rode on rocks a lot you would understand. As for only lasting 2 months, do you ride on sandpaper or something? Andy B

Everyone should stop being tight and move on and use try all tyres, nothing grips better for a mod. Andy B

Depending on the person who asks the seat question, they either get the a) Some little pikey stole it, i lost it or c) these bike dont need seats or it could severely hurt. Best question i ever got asked was shortly after i fell off and landed on my arse, an old lady came up and just said, Do you fell quite silly now? Andy B

This is a top thread so i thought a would stick my side in. Basically i can agree with the deng situation, i had an a2 when they came out and loved it, but i find his frames especially are getting heavier all the time, and there is no new ideas from the factory anymore, it is for this reason that i have now bought an XTP2. I wanted a bike that looked like there had been some real thought put into and the new xtp seemed to fit the bill, also bloody light. On the rider side of things though, down on the south coast where im from, there seems to be more riders all the time, it seems to be going from strength to strength. And i still feel that riding down here is very light hearted and good fun, when we went to London in january we all thought it was a bit split up and were very dissapointed. It seems we will stick to pompey and soton and have a top day with our mates. It seems that the decline of trials is a regional thing and all areas will have strong times and weak times, having never been up north to ride i dont know what its like. But we will be there for the vince ride. Andy b
