  5. Hello guys, Just something i thought you may find interesting, my avid bb7 broke sometime last week and while iv been waiting for my new one to arrive i have been riding without my front brake took the whole thing off lever, disc, calipper, cable the lot! And iv found that not having a front brake has really helped me work on my backwheel control and iv even been able to side hop well over handle bar height to two wheels and it has also improved my front wheel taps. Even though its been a good experience i cant wait to get my front brake back! Think its well worth a go sometime even if you only try it for one ride. Hope you find this interesting! Cheers Lawrence.
  6. Hello, I have always used plazmatic yellow on my front brake without a grind, never gave me any trouble all though they do not work very well in the rain i found. I have recently changed my front brake to a disc (Avid BB7) has given no problems come rain or shine. On my back brake (Magura HS33) i have found that koxx bloxx browns with a light grind has always worked well for me in all weather. i did use rock pads blues for a while but did not find them as effective as the koxx bloxx browns. I also think that brake pads are personal prefrence to how the individual likes to have there brake set up. larry
  7. hey, Ive been riding trials for about 3-4 years now and over that time iv built up a fairly good bike all the top parts etc. Latly i have noticed that quite a few of my mates bikes feel alot lighter when i ride them even though mine is rather alike, im not sure if its the way i have my bike set up, or if it is that my bike is just over weight. Basicly i was wondering if anyone has any good tips or sujestions for losing weight off your bikes? larry
  8. Swap? Have you any pics? msn?
