  1. Some pre-wedding action from Yorkshire.
  2. Folio Albums. Mainly wedding and portrait stuff, provide a link to a site to prove you're not joe public and you can order books from there. www.folioalbums.com They will print anything, the guy Stewart Randall who runs it is fantastic.
  3. Fresh Album. Pages lay completely flat so you can print across the centre. The inks they use are amazing, super sharp prints with amazing colours.
  4. A shot from last year that got lost with the 1000's I've taken of my little girl an Sarah.
  5. Get primes and don't look back. Although I have the 17-40 and it is nice. Would prefer the 16-35 but bought the 35mm 1.4 instead. Better for what I do
  6. Pretty much a pitch black room too other than DJ lights. Flash power dude
  7. Cheers, top one if a single flash under the stairs to balance the flash bounced into an umbrella next to our couple. Bottom one is a bare flash behind the couple. Light spilling off them helps to light them on my side too.
  8. Been shooting a few winter weddings recently. Check out our vimeo page for some on the day slideshows we put together for evening guests. https://vimeo.com/user4933886
  9. Couple from last weekends wedding. The weather was wonderful
  10. Never done it before but you need a good rim light too I think, this helps separate the background and the subject.
  11. Fresh on the blog, some Wales action. http://www.stottandatkinson.com/?p=2463
  12. Couple from todays pre-wedding shoot.
  13. Full Autumn shoot on the blog. http://www.stottandatkinson.com/louise-and-james-pre-wedding-shoot-roundhay-park-leeds/
  14. I tend to use 35mm and 50mm most of the time. Then 24mm for wide and 70-200 for a bit of extra reach but think I'll get a 135mm soon. Keep the 70-200 as backup.
  15. Get a 100mm or 135mm f2. Not sure if nikon do anything like this. I've got a 70-200 but thinking of switching to the 135mm prime. Have to move around more but much lighter and sharper.
  16. Autumn pre-weddings, love the colours
  17. Said it yourself there, without taken photographs then no one homeless is being brought to the attention of the public. Used in the correct way, photos of homeless isn't taking advantage. People not realise what it's like etc and you can help show that.
  18. Thank you and as for homeless people, I don't see why not. Unless they are in pain, taking a dump etc. Best thing would be to get talking to people, find out about what happened to them and then you'll get some awesome stuff. Just need to be able to talk to strangers that's all
  19. Hi guys, we got entered into a photo of the month comp. It would be great if you could help us out and vote for Stott and Atkinson. It takes 2 mins, click the link and then click our name, no registration etc required. http://theweddingcommunityblog.com/2012/11/01/vote-for-your-favourite-october-2012-picture-of-the-day/ Cheers Tim
  20. Camera doesn't lie, I'm just good with angles and making couples look good
  21. Link below to Rhodes pre-wedding and the wedding itself Feedback appreciated, really please with most of the shots and how they flow. http://www.stottandatkinson.com/?p=2250
  22. Just save the extra cash and buy some Elincromn Skyports. About £120 a pair but the work, every time all the time. No mods, no messing and not as expensive as pocket wizards. Nothing will touch pocket wizards but these come close. Also, another shot from Rhodes.
  23. Link below, he shoots awesome wedding stuff and band stuff too. He has prices on there for signed and un-signed bands. Might give you an idea. £100 for an hour but if your not experienced it could take longer. I'd probably get around 20/25 shots in an hour once you get rid on blinks and duff stuff. It all depends what they want. http://stevegerrardphotography.com/
