your mad, that 12 hours driving, then days riding, 12 hours back to ride london for a full day..london to porthcawl is across the country, taking a good 5/6 hours doing that... would be near impossible to do all that driving and still ride lol plus in august, ferry prices double/triple dude. what 25 pound now will be 60/70 then. i still think france in june for week or something, then after world etc in august get england one organised :(

yeah, if the two are split up then we can prob get more places to ride in England too. We were thinking earlier rather than later for france Wayne because price will double/triple as soon as its summer holidays. which willl prob stop alot of people coming.

we've been thinking about what people have said etc and were now thinking... one week in june or whenever - go to France to koxx days place an paris etc for week. get this done before school summer holidays otherwise ferry/prices will be double tc... then in summer, get an england trip done to porthcawl, bristol, london, newquay for final few days as we can chill, surf, ride and all students will be going there before haeding to uni, we went last year, loadsof women on the beach :ermm:

think we'll be heading from leeds straight to porthcawl, nice place to start, down to bristol, then maybe newquay and stay there for afew day to ride an surf...then across to london to ride, and from there to france to place where koxx days were and paris, few days there and back to england maybe riding places on way depending on days of holiday left and money. this is nothing set yet, just a rough idea, free for all type thing. i know alot of people learning to drive at moment so prob more people near the date. tis plenty of time to plan and organise yet :o would be nice if last years roadtrip crew were together again thats all :) and be a right laugh again. next time your at glen Mike with wayne, lee etc i should be able to make it...be easier checking dates in person etc.

would be a case of, at some point meet up down south if your coming to france etc... we were thinking june but people have exams, so maybe end of july when there al finished. be warm enough and summer prices wont be in effect...i dont think :o

I dont think the last comp/indoor session was as successful as hope due to the dates, not that it didnt appeal too people. it prob appealled to alot of people but with koxx days before, jibjam on the same weekend and bike show weekend after, people were saving or already broke. choosing the right dates is one of most important things as you must have realised after changing dates for next one several times. i think it would be better if you spent afew days/weeks planning the dates more, and letting everyone know what the dates are when you have it finalised with the landowner.. lets us know know times, dates and the plan all at once so people can plan for it. can people camp on the trial? if not everyone needs to organise campsites etc. just telling everyone these details when finalised will make everything easier all round. will it be afew day type thing or just a sunday? etc... just an idea (N) Tim

i have my ACU form but got confused when it said i cant apply too a club with it, but cant get ACU with club membership (N) plus couldnt find addresses to send them too, i didnt look hard though so probably somewhere ont forum. i really want to try a comp this year though, even if its just for the experience.

i did a £10 note with mates head on, he had MrT mo hawk hair cut, blended it all perfect and used it at a pub we both worked at lol the didnt even notice until they went to cash up an saw his face. couldnt believe it lol

exaclty, organising now can give us chance to decide places to ride, and for people to tag along from different place. should be wicked, done it once, can be done again...hope this time we can find campsites and not school footie fields lol. and with it being june sometime, campsites should be all fully booked

i think its weird that penelope cruz is in both original and re-make of the film playing the same part (N) but i quite liked both of them too

few of us did it last year, porthcawl, bristol and stratford over 3/4 days.. just thinking about making it pretty much 2 weeks this time or around that visiting az many places as possible...Newquay for few days to chill out, surf and recover from riding so much first few days..then off to france... start orgainsing now so people can save etc

Were thinking some time in june- few place in britain, porthcawl, bristol, newquay for riding an surfing, london...do that for 4/5 days, then in the next week head off to France where koxx days were and paris etc. ride there for few days and head home. something along those lines. we decided june as schools havent broken up so ferry/tunnel will be cheaper and camping should be too ;) who is up for it? who can make it? any other suggestions?

well done to all. just wondering, is there a closing date to the season when you can enter? havent had time or money to get everything sorted with me van dying. hopefully try get it done for addingham :unsure:
