Your Favourite Rider (street And Competition)
DrEvil270183 replied to aaron chase's topic in Trials Chat
street - Danny Mac, he's creative in ways no one else is, still does trials moves without getting hooked up with doing the same moves over and over, just a little bit bigger. natural is too close to call, very talented riders at different levels, kenny B, shan shaw, wayne mo, savage, butler, slinger, andrei...list goes on -
one from the other day, lots more but will make a thread... DAnny Mac, 180 nose bunk off wall the wall and out into the drop..

if you can squeeze the extra 100 then look at these .. Edin cycles Or as said, have a look for giant SCR or specialized allez on ebay, probably some 05/06 ones about. with these two you know you'll get a pretty good spec. And go into a bike shop to get sized up as if its wrong your back will ache.

Danny Mac doing the big drop gaps too. you've been touching too many ..... Danny Mac doing the big drop gaps too. you've been touching too many .....

I've got the lastest paintshop pro, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI (PC) brand new, completely unopened. it goes for £50 upwards new, £20 upwards second-hand. I won it in a competition but i use photoshop so have never opened it. £10 plus p&p if you fancy it? Tim.

no mesh tools from me, keep meaning to find tutorials to use them but haven't had chance. illustrator using pen tool to build up layers of colour.

one of our vid intros somthing i never finished... a friends portrait with a twist seen something similar so played around..

Seriously, i wouldn't use one, never mind two. risking it snapping with so much pressure. i used a split link for day at a comp the other week due to chain snapping day before, after a day i could see it was about to die. Get a good kmc chain, and fit it without the split link. much safer when done correctly.

ive got that drop as a sequence too, need to put it together but i'm lazy lol -
Searched the interweb high and low, that **** that broke into my car broke the window to open rear door. Its a for fiesta 97 plate, they smashed the small triangle window in the rear passengers door. need to get to a scrappers buy replacement and get it fitted. How though? any help will be great. Tim

i like your thinking. thats how we do it, inner tube replacement for us is £2.95 for the tube, £2.05 labour bringing it to £5 in total. we charge £18 for bb fitting as it could take up to an hour, or it could take 5 mins. you never know. plus i lost count of customers bringing bikes it with bbs threaded or tightened instead of loosened. People who know little bits about fixing bikes seem to think that everyone will know basics. i teach a maintainance class and meet people how cant remove their rear wheel, but cycle 50miles a day.. end of the day you pay for mechanical skills, tools needed, time taken. going back to original post though, i do believe that guy didnt have a clue what you were talking about and quoted for something else. Tim

As title says, car got broken into last night. bit gutted but surprisingly calm to say they got a set of alloy wheels 17", 2 with new tyres. and my stereo. Insurance covers me for stereo upto £750. it didn't cost that so i wouldn't claim that, but how will it effect the price of insurance next year? dont want to claim £150 for a new stereo to get charged an extra £200 or something on my cover. Tim.

£20 for a basic (getting the gears and brakes working well, checking over bike but charging extra if anything is needed.) £35 for standard (as above but cones/headset tightened, bb checked and replaced if needed without extra charge, drivetrain removed, cleaned and lubed etc.) £85 deluxe (full strip down, clean everything and then rebuild as it was a new bike.) these prices are pretty cheap compared to other shops in our area. i've seen deluxes at £120 which seems more reasonable.

the video linked to is old, and if you ever saw his version of "ambitious card." you would know that he does have his own style. perhaps to the patter of some, or style of blaine. but still he is out there making it.
