It's simply a case of new chain on old sprocket. You can see the chain isn't fitting on the teeth correctly due the the teeth being worn and the chain not. It's the small circle spacers in the chain that wear down. The circle spacers on your new chain are not worn so it doesn't it on the teeth properly. Try and wrap the chain all the way round the sprocket, If it leaves at any point rather than sitting fully on then it is 100% becaue the sprocket it worn and the chain is not. In which case, you'll need a new bashguard to solve the issue.
-
If the bash is really really worn then you'll just end up riding around for ages waiting for everything to mesh together, risking hurting yourself. When the bashring/chainring is worn and chain is new, the chain doesn't it on the teeth correct so when you go to pedal it feels like the hub is skipping. Actually it is the chain skipping across teeth. It's up to you but if it's worn loads then you would be safer buying a new bashguard/chainring. Drivetrain always wears together. New chain, new sprocket and new chainring should ideally be replaced together. If you replaced chains often, then you get longer out of the sprokets/chainrings.

That just it though. They're not about easing up PC rules etc. They truly are a racist party with racist views. My Niece is mixed race, passed by some BNP members giving out leaflets etc and was threatened. Asked why her baby was mixed race in a threatening manner. They hide behind hidden messages and if they started to build some real power I think the smoke and mirror might be removed to show the true colours. Point was mainly that people should vote if they can. Even if you take a 15min scan online looking at what each party is about. The people that don't vote, won't care until something happens that affects them.
-
Voting BNP is like saying "Hitler was right to kill Jews." It's not a case of jobs for British people. They simply put that as one of the messages to get people who are unsure of who to vote, to vote for them. And before you know it, thanks to anyone who couldn't be bothered to vote..BNP get some seats and then have more of a say in how the country is run. That when everything really does go down hill.

Isn't it obvious that he did everything with basic trials and then thought "I know, lets not get stuck in a rut. I'll push boundaries of whats possible on a TRIALS bike." I'm once met someone who said you to me "you don't use your bash guard so you don't ride proper trials." And now look how big UCI is. Asking if it's trials....leave this forum.

Everything in the video was amazing, as well as the odd stupidly amazing line or move. That really has just set the bar for all trials videos ever made from now.

Evening all. This is not a debate about Mac Vs PC. I just making inquiries. Basically I have a Desktop PC at the moment. Its about 5 years old, 1 gb ram, 128mb Radion graphics card that takes second monitor, 2.8ghz processor, 250bg harddrive, dvd writer and cd writer, usually ports etc. I'm thinking about changing to Mac, and due to photography needs thinking something portable will be better but also good for photoshop/illustrator. Then a monitor at home to plug into for more screen space to edit etc. I'm kind of okay with PCs, understand what is what but somethings seem different with macs. I'm currently looking at something similar too MacBook # 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo # 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x2GB # 160GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm # SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW) # Keyboard (British) & User’s Guide (English) # Apple Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter Are the Macbook Pro a lot better for my needs rather than the macbook. Anything to look out for second hand as again I'm not sure about the differences between each mac other than the obvious stuff. Cheers, Tim

just heard from the ranger of the quarry that there will hopefully be a comp there this july. Trials, mini downhill and an xc comp. Should be a good venue for that.

Cheers for the comments We both wanted to get some photographs that could be desktop background and a few have hit the spot. Were going to catch a sunset at some point so watch this space.
-
It is yeah, but was a secret spot before hand that only few new about. Changed when the wardens etc were cool with everyone riding there.
-
sure, email me your email and I'll send your way.

Went out with Stan with the aim off getting sunset shots and riding but the wind was way too bad up high so moved location and couldn't see the sun anymore. Still got a few nice ones though. Siehope up, ready to go to backwheel and over. like so.. same but different angle Consistency, same drop few mins later. Sidehop to wedge the up to top sidehop with bits of sunset big gap without landing image so you can see size Two of the gap together, big big gap.. up to front Hope you like, we were short on time due to losing light. Going to get out again soon and get some better ones. Tim

When a rim is buckle it does not effect the hub, therefore does not effect the rotor for the brake. Your bb 5 prob just needs setting up, new pads, cables, bit of lube in the outer cable and adjusting so it bites etc. Rotor always bend, as said above - use a small adjustable spanner to get it running correctly. chance are you won't get it straight but do your best to get it so it doesn't rub on the pads. The upgrade of bb5 to bb7 is mainly the dial adjustments on both sides of the brake caliper. BB7 has two, BB5 has one. Possible slightly different caliper body design but I;m sure as you already have the Bb5 you could get it set up to work as well. Save your money for other much needed parts, like stronger rims Tim

Got a few snaps today at the comp. Will post them when I get chance. Dave

bleed it with water only, not only will it be the best bleed but it will be the best feeling brake you've ever had. Very positive feel.
-
Hope you didn't bleed your maggie with any dot fluid. We had a guy in our shop just the other day, thought the warning on his shimano brakes saying mineral oil only was to stop you buying other brands oils so bled with dot 4. few hours later the seals died badly. very very costly for him. Dot fluid eats the seals in mineral brakes, and mineral oil isn't any good for seals in dot 3/4/5 brake systems either. I can't believe how many people come up with crazy ideas but won't bleed with water

Hi Guitar dudes, where is the best place to sell a guitar? I've got an acoustic Tanglewood TW15 NS, plays nicely but I haven't used in for months. Thinking of passing it too a better home but sure it will get missed on ebay etc. Any ideas? cheers, Tim
