to make them bed in a bit quicker then get some wet and dry paper and slowly roughen it up then they bed in quicker than riding them!

the clearance you should have is 3mm otherwise youll find it will bottom out ! hope this help

as i work in a bike shop i have fitted many HOPE and CHRIS KING headset and they require a compressing tool and there own cups that the head cups sit on so if you get a king or hope then take it to your local bike shop and they should have the tool to do this sort of job! HOPECHRIS KINGare the ones you should go for
