As is said loads, the mind plays a big part. Gritting your teeth, and saying to yourself, 'I will do this' (along with hitting your fist against your helmet and growling) works great for me B) . You tend to also hit things harder and faster with a bit of aggression.

I used to always get the same dream, where i try hopping up to manual on a big ass wall, and i try to feather the back brake and theres nothing there. sUCkS. So I jerk awake, and my braking finger's twitching. GaHY. Still get them occasionally. It's what you get when you've ridden 6 years I guess.

YAY for Janson. I'll try and come along to as many as the big rides after NASS as possible. Bristol, London and Porthcawl are musts ! Poole, Worthing and Reading are all great places too. IMO its not good to stray too far north as people there speak weird, and eat their own babies. Just my opinion though. See you soon.

Mrs Matt seems to have a genuine interest, and forces me to bring her on rides, where possible. She tried riding my KOT home from the train station once, and my PIMP Avid didn't like it and tried to kill her... :blink: NOT MY FAULT

Seen as Selectbikes have their ginger team rider helping out, I feel somewhat obliged to join in this devastating legal battle. :P BUT... I have no real knowledge with these things. I do think it's a big shame though, and I hope this can be sorted out. I think James and I should have a riding battle to the death, in order to settle this like men. :D Sorry if people are taking this seriously, and I seem like a complete dick heed.

Howdy-ho. This may be a pretty useless post, but I was wondering what sort of time people will be getting to NASS on the Friday ? As I need to book train tickets for a particular train departure time. Shuttle busses start from 10:00 from Castle Cary station for those arriving via trains. Also, anyone with a long train journey, considering purchasing tickets on the day of travel, may wish to reconsider, and book early (up to 10 days before travel) as my ticket is £19 when pre-booked, as appose to £62 on the day. ^_^ Thankyou-please.

That will ride horrible. Like a pogo stick, zero leverage. Chainstays DO NOT need to be shorter than 380mm. Which I know is contrary to what i've said before, but is seriously true. BTs are VERY well made frames, and alot of care goes into their design, but they're going in the wrong direction I feel.

David, no. It's possible on 12'' kids bikes, and while standing on the rear pegs of a BMX. I'm afraid that's about it.
