oh... my... god... Thats Fookin Crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, i wonder how long it took to sort out thew insurance. This weekend i'm going to a natural mototrials comp, that's what started me in trials. It's immense what they can do, but some times it seems to be more momentum than anything ele.

I have onza hog drilled rims on my onza t-rex, and after a week riding i realised some of the spokes were ridiculously loose. I spnt about an hour truing the rims in my kitchen with the bike resting o a bucket; it worked perfectly well Anyway, since then they've been great and have held straight really well (even with me doing bigger stuff and landing harder) Steve

There was a thread about this not too long ago, a bmx rider did an abubaca to a front flip off a drop, so it is possible (like in the video) I think it was on the ridebmx cover

That would be very nice Maybe i'll be there someday

My trials resolutions basically fit in with all my other resoultions: To get out more, and to enter as many comps as i can ( in all my sports) Also i wana try to get to the gym more regularly, helps loads. Steve

Has anyone tried that kind of thing on a trials bike? Just wondering because my bmx mates are hiring out skaterham sometime and i'm going to take my trials bike along, maybe try flips into the foam pit Steve

I agree with most people here, I try not to think too much about something. I do it and then consider what could have happened, but by that time i either know i can do it, or that i should practise a bit more. This could be because i am relatively young, so i am not as aware as some people. I have only ever had small bails but i always try to get back up and do it again until i get it. Steve

You could do that and then pump a tiny bit of oil in the slave cylinder almost like a tiny bleed to get rid of the minimal air that might be there. (I think) EDIT: Or do what XPbIM3 said, they're basically the same principal. Steve

Hi all At the moment i can get up around 2-3ft walls, but i am wondering what is the best way to learn to 'tap' up walls. I realise practise is everything, but what is an ideal object to learn on? All help would be really appreciated. Thanks, Steve

I recently bought a Giro Xen 07, they fit really well, and look pretty cool too.As long as you don't mind the price tag they're not all that bad. - Giro Xen 2007 You could also look at the Giro E2 which is on offer on CRC. - Giro E2 several models Steve EDIT: Just noticed you have ordered one

I'm trying to make a film on movie maker, but the camera that the clips were recorded on uploads them as .mov files (apple quicktime). These files are not accepted by movie maker so is there any way that I can transform these to an accepted type? Thanks, Steve

Whenever i go out riding trials with my mates, there are always the typical few that tell you off, or move you on to a different place, but there is always an audience. Yesterday i went riding in London and although there was only around 5 minutes on each spot (Guards doing their job ), an audience always gathered. In the past i have had younger children ask if they can have a go on my bike, and parents asking about the sport of trials, and to me this shows that people are starting to become interested in the sport. I just hope that trials can become popular, but not too popular, I have always like the unique factor of trials. I became interested because my dad helps run a trials motorcycle event called the TALMAG, and many of the riders there have children with trials pushbikes. From there i bought a trials bike and now many of my friends who i regularly ride with have become interested and have started to buy their own trials bikes. It would be nice to see trials on the TV as i occasionally do with mototrials, but i don't want the sport to become one that everyone has seen before.

lately i have got back into trials but my old specialized gloves have minimal padding and it is starting to show on my hands. Could anyone please offer advice on suitable gloves with nice padding around the main blister areas e.g. the base and tip of fingers? Thanks, Steve

Well... compared to alot of you, i have had few bikes: Onza t-bird (Wrecked by a "mate) Onza t-rex 03 (stolen, rwecked and recovered) Onza t-rex 06 (from the insurance money of the t-rex 03 )

I would say that Ryan Leech is the 'trials personality of the year'. This is because he has put in so much effort to promote trials by helping people learn and by doing many demo's. Another reason is that he has also helped those who are already into the sport by creating extremely useful and good quality tuition videos. Sorry if there is anyone else out there who has done much the same, but i don't know of anyone else

Right, firstly i am all behind this idea, as i agree that it would be extremely useful. Secondly as to your questions about tutorials etc. One great place to learn is on a website called Trashzen. It is very helpful and videos that clearly explain the techniques behind various moves. Trashzen would also be able to answer your questions on what trials moves to learn, and it can be a great help. At the moment because of not having a bike, i have started watching the videos and 'revising' because i'm a trials nerd Also as Fat Pants has previously mentioned, most of the questions can be asked in the 'Random SMall Questions' topic, as long as they're trials related. Hope this helps Steve

Usually i ride for roughly 5 hours a day (fitted around school, homework and anything else). However due to the fact that my bike was stolen and i'm waiting for my replacement, at the moment i am only spending around 1 hour a week doing trials (on my mates bike).

This is certainly the case. I would not 'recommend' using a fixed wheel with a freewheel at the front. I have had to cut several freinds' jeans apart as a result of them getting trapped in my freewheel. :$ However, it is easy to overcome this problem by... tucking your trousers into socks ( it isn't that 'goony'). I would rather look slightly wierd than have to cut a good pair of jeans. Hope this helps, Steve

I started on a t-bird and it was great for learning. Then i managed to pick up a cheap t-rex 03, and i used that until recently it was stolen. Now i'm getting a brand new t-rex spec 2 from the insurance and a bit of my own money Can't wait until it gets here.

Personally, i think that 20" are easier to learn on, they're easy to move around on, and compared to my 26", alot lighter.
