Right with you on the all black=unoriginal Crocker So what about the pink frame, but white does add the camp touch i think unless you have white rims and everything else black. so i though Black and pink! Pink frame, everything else black apart from the stars on the forks and a few coming off the chainstays maybe ? And maaayybee just mabe some white or pink rims If not then Black and lime green is always gorgeous! classy but still imaginative and exciting. The choice is yours, what other color parts do you have on the bike ? Joel

same, never really warmed to the monty's but that has just changed my mind, lovely bike mate Also like the hose pipe on the chainstays, cheaper than armadillo's, doesn't look bulky and your frame won't get sh#t knocked out of it on sidehop attempts ! Joel

Where Dose everyone Order Their Parts From
JsyJoel93 replied to onzat-comp's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
TRIALSSHOP.CO.UK = AWESOME... that's the shop you DON'T go to...buncha t#ss*rs I know it's been said but still... www.tartybikes.co.uk www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk Great service,delivery and value for money...what more do you want ? Joel -
Yeah nice vid dude ! What software did you get ? Joel
-
Yeah i'd go for the t-rex purely because of 3 things: You're height would mean the woodstock would be waayy too short for you... The T-rex is stronger and better looking (in my opinion)... And the £50 you save on it, you could spend on some decent bars,cranks,single-speed,booster just the little-ish things that can make £50 go pretty far. Joel

Woop Woop ! Glad I can help Matt, and I got plenty more where that came from. Joel P.S:but i want those brownie points !!

You could go for any of the Deng freehubs as they all have the same internals, or look on here in the FS/WTD section to see if anyone is shifting one that you want orrr... bit riskier but the Hope Pro2's are actually Mod compatable !!! if you shave 9.2mm off of the spacer on the non-drive side, they fit into mod frames, and they are going for £60ish on www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk and sound sooo sexy its unbelievable !! Joel

Chuck me a fiver and i'll open for business to everyone Love u Jay haha Joel

These two have it spot on but unfortunately the deng(unoriginal copies) are probably going to be the better brake due to a smaller piston. The lever being bigger than the piston the fluid is compressed therefore flows faster with the same amount of pressure. pretty simple stuff but very effective Joel

Get yourself an angle grinder and a 0.8mm cutting disc for a really sharp grind, hold it as close to 90degrees as you can with out cutting into your rim, practice on an old rim or something to get the feel for it first then go for it on yours the pads you run are crutial when you have a grind so choose wisely ! Joel

Cal D and Fredrico you two fookin rock Distilled *** !! and the name on the booster would look swish ! especially offset like on the side or something. not just predictably in the middle! Joel
-
Seconded, good bike to learn on, reasonably light and good value for money Joel
-
What help was that ? Joel

Arite tom ! before i say anythin else...why jsymole ? And yeah if you've got £100 2 splash out on some, get one of the echo, czar, adamant etc. 7075 cranks and my V8's are lovely so getcha self a pair of those, don't get cage pedals because they just fall apart and they're gay lol Joel

I am soo suprized no-one has said Citrus's. My mate ran a pair on a sharp light grind, no tar and the bite actually vibrated throgh his frame...no joke ! thats the way to go, £11 = Sorted Joel
-
Do you have any pics of the bike because giving an accurate price is a bit difficult as you really need the spec and general condition of it all Joel
-
I've got a pair of ZOO!'s and they're gorgeous but the new Echo flat's look very shweet and have had a few real good reports so either one of those i would say: ZOO! Risers : http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=89 Echo's : http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/large_newebar.jpg Joel

You gotcha self a good idea going here Matt there are a lot of factors to consider, but they come in stages so it's not like a huge mountain of everything at once. Few names I thought of: Sprent parts co. (all below in creative but readable graffit or stylish logo which i can help with aswell ) Distilled Kustom co. Burn-time *STK* parts That's just a few but i've got a load more ! Get in touch if you want to take me up on anything - onzadude@yahoo.co.uk (ma MSN) P.S I love designing and got a good mind for business spending my work experience at an architect's so if you fancy another person on board im open Joel
-
Yeah it's a bit slow on mine aswell I agree with ARV* aswell, echo has taken off in a HAUGE way, but try-all still have a pretty good thing going coupled with Koxx ! Joel
-
Yeah the mounts could be easily re-tapped but it'll only come back again, if you can scrape another 100 or so together then a new frame would deffinately be a good idea depending on what sort of rider you are there are a few different decently priced frames around If you like short, hoppy bikes : http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2227 or the 221pr DD is a lovely frame for the £30 extra and if you could pick up a rear hope mono or even a bb7, you'd be sorted !! I felt a lot more confident on a double disc than a rear maggie and they are soo much easier to set up. If you don't fancy the monty and £275 is a bit pricey then have a look in the "f/s" section on here, im sure someone will have a frame they want to shift Joel
-
Nope, try-all will be fine with a bash-plate And they don't need tightening all the time either, my mate has ragged the hell out of his one since early December and he hasn't needed to once Joel
