the reason i want a 20"? it's just because i like it more, it's more me i think than a 26". not that a 26 wouldn't be nice but what i have seen from the 20 is more like how i like to ride in the future. i got enough time to practice and my own spot allready ^^ winter in holland.... to much rain so i can start practicing in a old building near my place, it's empty.

hello everybody, for about 2 years now i am watching trial bike movies at youtube etc. and i always want to do it by myself. after this 2 years í think i'm finaly ready to do it. the only thing is, i do not know how to start and choose a bike. i made up a list of beginner bikes ( i think) from tartybikes. they are all between 250 and 400f and i need to ship it to the netherlands. ( thats where i'm from). mayde it's good to know that i'm about 5,9ft and i realy want to bike a 20". the list: Onza T-Vee '08 Onza T-Bird '08 Onza Rip Onza Bird Yaabaa 449 Senior Monty 219 Alp Yaabaa 499 Monty 219 Alp '08 please help me choose and tell me why. ( i'm sorry for language, it's beause i'm from the netherlands and my English is not so good!)

yeah i think i'm getting it, i where only thinking about this because there are so many topics about the basics for trials. so i tought maybe if u comibine them to one topic it would be easy to find the things you need to know all in one topic and it will clean up the forum a lot.

hi first of all i want to say that i'm here only for about 3days and i have to say i love this forum. There's a lot of info on it and the people here are very helpfull. thanks evrybody but now i got a question. I'm like a total trial noob and don't have a bike yet so i'm looking for info how to start and what bike to get etc at this forum, but now i was thinking i'm missing a sticky topic for trial starters. my idea is why not make a topic for everybody who's just starting and got a lot of questions. i think this can be very usefull to all starters. make a topic where all the basics and terms about trials are discribed etc, and where all starters can ask their questions lik "what's the first thing i have to learn when i'm starting trials" , "what bike should i get" , "you guys are talking about pedal hops, what are they" and "are there any tutorials videos where they are explaining me how to do a bunny hop"etc etc. i was thinking about this because there are so much topics all over this forum and it takes you hours to find the thing you want to know, and now that these questions are all beginner questions why not make a topic for it. if you guys think this is a good idea i think i got some time to make a start of making one. ps: sorry about my bad english, i'm trying to do my best to get is as good as possible. Ps2: please let me know what you think about it. ty, Casholini.

i have not started yet, but going to start verry soon. asap. and why i'm going to start?... because this seems like a verry big challenge to me and i'm watching it allready for a long time but never concidered to do it myself... atm i'm so hopeless to get some money so i'm selling my xbox, alsmost xmas almost my birthday etc ^^.

i think i'm going for a onza to and max £400 don't know yet .. it's gonna be a 20 for sure ^^... just don't know what kind yet

and how long did it take for u guys to learn the basic of trials?? because the only bik i've bin on is just a normal bike where i did go to my work hehe.

i add u to msn ty. and how much want to spend .. i think 400£ / 600€ max to start with . so if somebody knows something for that price please post a link to a site where i can read more about it . and i think i want to go for 20" .

i also asked in the "random questions"topic and they explained it for me... but i think the 20"looks way cooler than the 26" yes not only on pics but alson in the movies hehe... i got till Jan15 to choose ... so got enough time i think.. so where are u from?

and 1more thing, why there are bikes with big weels and why are there bik with small ones? dunno whats best to learn on so .. and whats the difference.

@max: thanks for all the info , but it's a bit expensive.. but i'll work a lot so i should be able to get it in about 1 or 2 months but if there are any more options i want to know those to. @Endohopper: i'm from a city near rotterdam. and this is the first forum where i come so .. if it's the best i probably going to stay here hahal @karl: i don't know yet how much i want to spend on it, but i think it's better to buy a better bike at once. otherwise i can buy a new one in a few years and spend much more on it.

hi everybody, the past few years i watched a lot of trials, and only now after that years i came up with the idea to start with it myself. the only problem is i don't know what to buy.. what bikes are good to start with. etc etc i hope some of u can give me some tips. one more thing i come from the netherlands, and never seen somebody before on a trial bike so ... hope i can get one in the netherlands otherwise i have to import one. ty and greetz, Casholini
