Good turnout of riding content from everyone here.

To be fair at least you would have enjoyed a better spectacle in terms of viewing the event. You just can't appreciate the scale of some of the bigger stuff on camera as it was so crap and you would have experienced the atmosphere in terms of cheers and boos of the observers dishing out 5 for some of the harshest of penalities some of them I couldn't see because of the camera work. One would have thought UCI would pay to get Gilles or Giacomo Coustellier involved in this hosting such events especially being former world champs. The whole event just seems a bit disjointed nowadays. Cycling world championships was another sh*t show with zero coverage of the trials comp event in Glasgow. @Chakers1998 yeah it certainly seems to be heading in that direction.

Congrats to Piastri win, he definitely deserved that and great comeback from Norris from 17th. How on earth did Sainz and Perez crash into each other like near the end was so bizzare

F**king annoying that this the level of UCI Trials World Championships in terms of coverage with all that set up. Can't imagine the crowd reaction of the last rider in the 20" men's elite when he nailed that monster gap especially when the previous rider face planted it. Still Kudos to Shindig providing the commentary. One of the commentators sounds like Andrei Burton, but clearly wasn't when AB showed up on the Livestream comments section. Curious to how much money was involved in this set up and given the poor camera work and set up, no audio. Hard to believe that this is a 2024 World Championship event.

This deserves to be in the Trials video thread but would probably get a lot of hate using an ebike. The camera work doesn't do any justice on the scale of what Akrigg is riding and how the ebike is helping. Pretty sure Akrigg could do this stuff on a manual bike set up.....apart from the really steep climbing stuff

Nah, it's good to see 2 contrasting riding styles on the same terrain. Was immediately blown away by the quality of the footage. Whether it's a YouTube compression thing or Ali set-up, the imagery is so immersive in 720p/60fps on my phone and Chromebook. Can't imagine what 4K would look like. The only addition Ali can bring to future content is to use Binaural 3D audio so that when you listen through headphones, you get a truly immersive feel. Example below. Listen through headphones and prepare for your eyes to bleed.

WTF! Women's Olympic mountain bike course 2024. Rachel Atherton would cruise through this zero technical course blindfolded 14:00 glimpse of one crash on the technical decent part. Livefeed is being cut over this section. Crash itself didn't look that bad but I'm guessing the organizers don't want to risk complications if the rider suffered more than just bruising
