They do look really nice, but I am wondering about making a dual disc T-PRO, by making one of the brackets shown on here. Problem is, what hubs to use? At the moment I like echo, but are there any better ones.
-
My T-PRO will stand up to anything I can do, and it has the same frame as the new T-COMP. If you can afford the new T-COMP then get it, Excellent bikes.
-
I would strip it all down, the free-hub bit too, and solder the pawls into the rachet face. And swop te spring for small blocks of metal or plastic or summat. Worth a try, and you could de-solder it later if you wanted.
-
My T-PRO frame is a bit scratched but has no dents at all and no cracks, so I think I will run it until my riding progresses enough to break it. At the moment I really like the geometry but I want to swop the flat bars for some low risers, ZOO! probably. I might even make a bracket for a rear disc, That would be a bit odd though, a twin disc T-PRO! No ideas on the RB levers though anyone? I may just get echo or ZOO! lever blades, or discs, you never know...

They never test anything in MBUK, I saw a Brisa B26D tested once, and they put a review of the Zoot on the website. Thats it.

You have never bought any luke, Andy has had 4 pairs in the time I had my fox's, and he used them once a week on his motorbike, I use mine on my motorbike and on push bikes... When you have bought some and ripped them as quick as Andy has then you will see,...

I could actually understand how it could ruin your wheels in theory, because spokes can stretch can't they? But my mate's PR probably just had a shite rear wheel build by the sounds of it. If i decide to get a Zona Zip, is there any advantage over the T-PRO? I could just make a bracket like some have on here, to mount the rear disk on...

Oh there is no chance of that! I have only been riding for a month and I have already spent £140 on my bike... This new hobby is going to be very expensive.. Are T-PRO frames actually that good, because I have seen a few people putting front disks and new, well, everything on them.
-
Don't do this, Luke lives up the road from me, he already has blue echo bars etc, you will just be riding his bike. Buy a Try All free wheel if you can, I have a tensile, and it is really nice but it is unsealed and nly has 6 pawls, (The same as an ENO), while the Try All has 9, and more engagment points, meaning its ust as strong but engages more often. EDIT: In fact just buy a 2007 T-COMP and get a T-Mag front wheel and disk put on it, please don't buy a T-MAG, the geometry is nice on lukes but I just prefer my T-PRO. Which has the same frame as the T-COMP.

No no no no, not hebo if you wear gloves out, I ride motorbike trials, all my mates have them and they fall apart, I have 661 Comps, they have never failed but are quite new. I did 2004 fox digits from stif.co.uk. they were the best gloves ever, the 661s were quite uncomfertable, these were dead comfy and only £14 a pair... I'm gonna get some more when the 661s finally go.

OK, I'm not much of a fan of high bbs, and I really would like a disk in the future, the only problem is that my mate with the pr's rear wheel virtually fell apart because the spokes were getting twisted when he hopped. Will this be sorted if I get an eyeletted rim, to stop the holes flaring and releasingt the tension on the spokes?

Sorry, I live in the north of derbyshire. If you PM magluke you can add him msn and arrange summat, 4 lads from sheffield wanted to meet us in buxton so you can come as well if you want, I haven't a clue whats goin on yet though

Calm Down! You should try the spell checker sometime, all your posts are barely readable. What is a Greebo? I have never had long hair in my life, so i don't know who you are mixing me up with. I noticed you are still a Pre-Member, good look getting validated pal after all that!

I have never broken any hs33 levers, I had 04s for two years on my XC bike which I rode jumps and street on, and crashed alll the time, and on my T-PRO I have green 06s.
-
My mate has one, its nice but I'm not really to keen, its nice but I just not used to it probably. What about an Echo Team, just seen it on selct bikes. The monty would let me run a rear disk if I wanted though...

Where can I buy RB levers from for hs33s? What new Mod frame shall I get (Under £200)? Thinking Zona zip maybe? Any recommendations welcomed! Thanks!

Wich Lucky People Are Getting For Christmas..?
Muel replied to bennyb's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Echo cranks, tensile freewheel, came about a week ago, but not allowed them until christmas. My ACS just annoyed me by refusing to be removed from my crank, so I cut it off with an angle grinder. Cranks are OK though, really useful when I have new ones waiting. -
I described how to do it in this topic: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....mp;hl=Rim+grind
-
How about you back off? Either post something useful or don't! Seriously though luke use the spell checker..
-
I would buy enough hose from chainreactioncycles.co.uk, searh for goodridge, and built your own hose up, you can get blue, red, white, clear or braided. but it is £8 per metre.
-
A Mod is a 20", usually with a 19" rear wheel. A Stock is a 26", (rubbish!).
-
Because the frames are beefier than a downhill bike, and when you ride over a curb the frame snaps! Only jokin they are nice bikes, well your is... Not as nice as my T-PRO will be though when its got all its new bits on! He might be a bit like Joe anyway, (A gooner no matter what bike he is on!).
-
Just when i bought my new zona bashplate... I could have bought yours! Use the spell checker! Don't go to school tomorrow either because we both have one lesson! Why go past my house, and then back for one lesson of watching videos? Lets go riding! We need more videos.
-
Personally, I think that T-MAG framesare the worst ONZA frames there are, I would rather have a T-VEE!! Only joking luke, I forgot to stay at your house on saturday. This mag is a mint bike really, he managed to get it for £300 from Aire Valley Cycles! (Round of applause please!) I said to use these things though to get validated quicker!: Bullet Points.Capitals Letters.Punctution.The Spell Checker. Can I stay over one night this week? You can stay at mine if you want, but you know my brother... So you probably don't.
