My old cranks worked fine with FFW so i dono

put my tensile FFW on my cranks and when i ride the cranks do not move much at all. and when i loosen the crank bolt there fine apart from cranks wobble all over any ideas

You can use oven cleaner instead as caustic soda as oven cleaner has just enough caustic init to remove the anodizing leaves a horrible finish but if your re painting it doesnt matter. Pros Safer than caustic soda easier to get hold off Cons Takes 45 minutes Horrible finish
