Im riding a new WHITE ciguena 24'', i got another one from the warranty but saving my money up for a leeson!
-
Hey mate, I do agree with what everyone else is saying the 24uk is a really good frame, I myself went fo rthe bad option and got the Ciguena 24'' bad idea! really bad idea! so I would go for that, because the 4 mounts threads and shocking, they keep cross threading, so I had to get them holicoiled, then on my firsts frame this happened! The mounts cracked on both sides! I wasnt very amused! lol Johny

Hey mate, It could be that it needs Re-Bleeding or a little bit of fluid!

What Do You Think To The New Ko Bike Frames?
JohnyMilton replied to Antilope trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I think your right mate, I think the guy was asking the pros and cons of the frame, not if it looked 'lush'! lol Johny -
Well its a very nice little upgrade, as someone said they dont thread like the red ones, and its ture, I got the 74Kings as soon as they came in stock and I have had no problem with it, unlike the red ones where there was a point in my life where I spent more on them alone than I had spent on other parts of my bike! I say its worth getting, it will save a little bit of money in the long run(not much, but its still saving money)! Johny
-
Hey Ali C, how long have you been running yours?
-
Well if it gets fitted right, it will work brillant! It takes a good minute to fix it on, as the first part is really fiddily to fix on to between the hub and drop outs! Well thats what you think of it, but I say its better than the DMR ones, reason being they kept bending or snaping the mec hanger when it got hut hard, but with the 74King it doesnt need to be put on to the mech hanger, so if your out riding and hit the 74King you will not break the mech hanger, therefore saving money in the long run! Johny

Hey mate, well I have them on 2 of my bikes, my DJ and my trials bikes, and so far they are holding really well! The one on my trials bike is taking all the abuse i give it and still not snaping or bending, and the one on my DJ is just downing what its ment to do and hold the chain tight! but before I got them i was going throw quite a lot of DMR ones and other cheap ones! SO when I saw the 74kings, i thought it was a good idea because of the spring reaction, and it was also my favorite thing 'Cheap and Cheerful', so i gave it ago, and I havnt looked back, I really do recomend one! The way they fit on is by going betweeen your hub and drop-outs, and then you simply adjust to where you need it to go! Hope I have Helped! Johny

Monty 219 And Monty 221pr Frame
JohnyMilton replied to da_bomb_bikes's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Hey dude, I dont know alot about these frames, but I know there has been similar topics to these in the past, so your best bet is to search it! but as I said I dont know much about these frames apart form there short, so if you like the short frame Monty is probaly the best for you! Johny -
Hey dude, I havnt really read what everyone else said but I see your looking at Monty 219 alp, well what I know of that is that its nice and short(good for spiny things, spiny things are good ), which is probaly near the same wheel base as your as Saracen, which if you like the lenght of that you would probaly enjoy the Monty, but the onza...........well there.....how do I put this nicely.....there poop, they fall apart first chance they get, i have two onzas in the past. A Onza t-pro, which loved breaking before I went on a ride, and My zoot, well that bike suffered every hting failed on it, apart from the brakes. I say go for the Monty for 3 reasons,1: made by a great company 2: strong frame design and 3: cheap and cheerful! Hope this helped, and i hope you understood me! lol Johny

Hey dude, I had Louise's once upon a time ago and they are easy to bleed if you have bleen other types of brkaes before, but if its the first time you'r bleeding the brake or the first itme the brake is being bleed, get a bike shop to do it and ask if you can watch as they do it. The bike shop near me thaught me to bleed my disk brake! hope this helped, but if it didnt make sence sorry! :$ lol Johny

Hey amte, i came off a freeride bike on to trials, and i found the trials BBs to feel dodgie, so i went for a Truvativ Gigapipe DH(which I used on my freeride rig), there really good, smooth and best of all there cheap £35, and tarty now sell them! Go for it if you want a long term BB! Hope I have helped! Johny

Slim jims are great for the dry, but when it comes to the wet you'd better glue your feet on them! I had a pair good rid of them in 2 weeks, not just because of the rubbishness in the wet, but also because the pins wouldn't bloody stay in! so as I said earlyer in this topic, get your self some V8's! Johny
-
Hey mate, I would say go for the DMR V8's, reason being there cheap and cheerful, there gripy as hell and you can replace the pins! What more do you need in a pedal! Johny
-
middleburns is where its at! go for them, they last for quite sometime! Johny
-
hey dude, i ride a 24inch, ciguena and my drop outs/chain tugs snaped! byut im geting new ones sent to me when they get in! your bike looks sweet! Johny
-
Hey mate, they are 26'' Echo Control forks! Johny
-
well heres mine, but im awaiting new wheels, but DHL lost my stuff ! so if I ever get it I will post pics on! theres my baby! lol Johny
-
im not talking about the frmae, im talking about when you buy it standard the components are crap, the mission frame is almost the same as the T-raptor and the sarcen frames are strong but the components are weak!
-
Hey dude, I read peoples comments saying buy a 'saracen' or 'mission', i highly recommand NOT getting one of them, they want last very long, I would recomend a bike but i dont know your budget, so if you could give me an idea of how much you are willing to spent, I could maybe help more, or as someone also said buying a second hand bike, now thats a good idea, you can get good bikes for cheap that way! Johny
