frame size is different, Im also 5ft 11" adn I could touch the ground comfortably, that didnt give me any problems. but the one your looking at looks about the same size as my devinci, so I dont think I would be to big for you, from what I know about my height. Plus that Marin is more like a Freeride/all-mountain bike, so it can cope with a little XC, but it want feel right, as I like Down hills more than going up hills!

There such nice bikes, I guy at my work had one, It was brillant, he never had problems with the bearings, was a good wieght, and took conners so well. I think I fell in love with it, lol! But theres one downfall about them, there not really made for short people, you need to be over 5ft11" to ride one, or your legs want to touch the ground! lol

Well I think I might stay of the trials bike, for winter, but I love riding DH in the snow!!! Its fun!!!

Its a X-country hub, or an all mountain hub, it would not last very long as a DJ or Trials hub, plus that link is for the 06, the 07 has a differnet type of flange, where you screw the spokes in. I guess the front one you can use for trials, theres no chance the rear pro 3 wil handle trials.

Dont you think if were keep pushing the boundries of trials, that we will get to point where its just impossible to get any bigger i mean "will anyone ever hook up an 8 ft wall from flat?" I dont see that happening with out knocking out there teeth! But think about it, do you think some will ever side hop over 69"? honestly can you? Well I think no, so I think at some point we will hit a dead end and trials will stick in the same palce, unless we get more urban, which is happening, so trials is growing wider, but I dont see move, for example, sidehops and hook-ups getting to un-reasonable heights, theres a limit on what a human and a bike can do, lol! Johny!
