only bleed echos with oil, I have tryed water many times and it has fcuked the brake. Maggies seem to be able to deal with water much better, so if you must use water do so with a maggy. And also as you have already mentioned your warenty will be void.

If I understand that properly then yes flash would do that. Wouldn't be that hard to do, depending on how much, or what, movement the 'thing' was doing.

Hello everyone, basically i am sick and tired of my rear rim brake its driving me mental i can never set it up right i buckle my rim and then it rubs, and i am now constantly bleeding the damn thing because i stupidly bought a echo tr lever and wish i hadn't now. Im hopping tarty will take it back because the seals don`t work properly on it, so i want the echo cnc back. Any way i was wondering weather disks are any good on the back of a 26" hydroxx ? I run a rear disk on my echo lite 20" and it seems ok but you just don`t get the bight like you do on a rim brake. So if any of you have experience of having a disk brake on a 26" please lets here your comments. Thanks, C.A

thanks guys yea i will send it back i think, But i dont particularly want another one and i dont want a magura one either because they are horrible. So it leaves me no choice but to go back to the echo cnc.

Hello all, I have had my Echo TR lever for a month now and i hate it. I have bled it 7 times now and im good at bleeding brakes. This lever just never makes the brake feel good and solid, no mater what i do it always seems spongy. I think it also lets air in because after about 4 rides my TPA is completely in, and it isn't my pads waring down. But i cant see any leaks, i have spoken to a few people about this and they have had similar problems with there TR lever. Just wanted to hear from some of you guys weather your having the same problem with them. Cheers.
