Getting on the heavy tools! Nice one Batesie! I'll come down to Romford in the new year sometime if your about.... -
Do Exactly that. Then Come christmas morning you can go "Thanks Mum , Thanks Dad i really had no idea you were getting me the bike"
-
My god people are gullable. I bet you any money you have the bike on Christmas Day. Your parents just want you to dismiss the idea completely then be super happy when you get it.... Why arn't you allowed a new bike? See my point?

http://www.supercycles.co.uk/zonazip.asp Cheap as chips. I wonder if deng will go cheaper? O the Drama!

Nice idea , but unless your buying around 400+ frames you won't get it down that low. Especially for anything decent. If Ashton had made £375 profit on each frame he sold , i'm sure now he would be able to retire and live somewhere sunny. You and i both know he was buying them no where near that cheap. Also theres alot of hidden costs in things , that you wouldn't even think about. Such as Shipping , import duty , Vat etc. these all start bumping costs up. How much do you think the Reynolds tubing Leeson uses costs Clive? At the end of the day everyone likes to justify there product. But as long as you remember the general rule of "You get what You pay for".

Ti is naturally flexy , which is one of the things which creates a nice ride feel to it. However you do have to find a happy medium , I'm sure most of you will of noticed our frame isn't exactly the lightest Ti frame on the market. I mean we could drop the weight by quite alot , but you would find if you go to far the frame would become too flexy and wouldn't be very durable. We believe weve found that happy medium. We have given attention to the areas that need to be stiff , but also retained the "Spring" that is usually associated with Ti tubing. Everyone that rode Simon Pearless's bike at the Essex comp on Sunday seemed to be pretty impressed. Hopefully soon we will have a built up test bike at most comps so people can not only see the quality of the frames but try it out aswell. Softails are nothing new , Companies have been producing them for years. Alot of the companies use either Steel or Ti and some Carbon as mentioned above. (Y)

What are you talking about? Any decent Xc rim is double walled. Its only real cheap and nasty entry level bikes that have single wall rims. On topic : I like it as a concept bike. Don't fancy it , even for XC....
-
I'd just like to point something out. The Koxx XTP 26" Retails at £695.99 and seems to of sold pretty well world wide. Now this frame is churned out in a factory in the far east at a very very low cost to Koxx. Their isn't anything amazing about the materials used in this frame or the quality of workmanship but they still feel they can justify the £695.99 price tag. That to me is not "Realistic" pricing. Now I'm sure if you do an internet search you will find that Titanium frames usually are sold for a much dearer price than ours. We like to think weve been "Realistic" with the pricing. I do admit its still at the top end market of trials but thats what we wanted. When we started TritonBicycleCo. we wanted to make the frames we wanted out of the best material we could find. Theres loads of frames out there for £299.99 thanks to Deng and his ever changing bike company names. We don't intend to sell millions of frames. Theres the standard Deema Geometry, but if thats not your cup of tea you can customise away even down to the graphics and finish. Its a bit more like every frame is a one of creation for that person.
-
Your talking about Sergei Kotov (Owner of KOT bikes).
-
I agree there Top pads.
-
The Deema weighs 3.5lbs and its durable we could of cut the weight down alot. Maybe we should make a "Concept bike" and get it down as light as possible.
-
Did you shorten the cable by anychance? The shorter the cable the better the brake will feel. Which is why front v's always work better than rears :P
-
I hate tomm , But i have to agree full outer is as crap as you can get. Run it through the stops (Y)

Whats the weight of the T-lite? I should think it will be alot lighter. We will have two good mod riders testing the frames when they hit the shores. Infact one of them will be thrashing the frame up and down the country at various different competions. Once we have some decent rider feedback we can go from there.
