  1. Yeah sounds like a show and half i think i'll try and make an apearance. :D
  2. Its really not that hard a concept is it. Pull up on the bars , Use the back brake to stop you looping out , Start to pump the manual with your legs , Pratice . If your mates are manualing everywhere why are you asking on here how to do it?
  3. I know bro. Did yours have the Cool paint job? The ones Ian has are both plain TI.
  4. Yeah the Titanium frames Raleigh had made for him are rather tasty. My mate owns two out of the 3 Ian had. Ian Cooper was a pretty f-ucking good rider at one point. I'm Sure Phill Willams can tell us more.
  5. Couldn't he of started a company with a different name?
  6. I used to dirt jump my Pashley and my Heavy Tools, Werent to bad at it either. I wonder if someone has got a pic of me doing a kicout at southbank?
  7. Its based around one of there old full sus frames. I don't think it was ever meant to make production. I can't belive you haven't seen that before.
  8. Doesn't it kinda defeat the object though? I mean Its one thing gapping to a tarred rail its a completly different kettle of fish gapping to a non tarred rail. I personally wouldn't bother.
  9. My technique seems a little different to most peoples. Steve bell (Endofreak) showed me it a few years back when he was living in london and its just stuck ever since. Alot of my mates just use brute force and try to get more bounce from there tyres. Heres what i do :S Get my front wheel on the obsticle with my front brake on fully and my rear brake just slightly on. I then find the right enagaement point in my hub (One is usually way to high and one is way to low) Then i kinda hop with the brakes off for a spilt second (Much like a backhop) and try to roll the front wheel on the pallets/wall. Its got me up pretty big stuff i'll try to do a video or something. Longer bikes will always help with this move but thats pretty obivous :(
  10. I'm not here to be helpfull.
  11. I bet Hans still rides it better than most people on this forum can ride there bikes. Ever heard the saying its the rider not the bike. I think Ackrigg proves that.
  12. Mike i wouldn't trust you driving a golf cart near my car, let alone something with more power.
  13. Mike you'll be lethal on the roads. Tests can take ages i waited quite a while to get a test at Loughton , Passed first time which was pretty lucky seeing as it would of been at least 4 months before i could of got a test again at Loughton. I think you'd do better to get your liscence then buy a car. Also i know you can pick up decent minis like that all day long up here. I was going to buy one for the mrs a while back but went against the idea in the end. But thats just my opion.
  14. No your right dickhead , However after my mrs was applying there last summer. I know that they don't like you talking about your work outside of the office. So they lay on a range of faciltys all inside the MI5 building, it has its own bar , Gym etc. etc.
  15. Riding mods is super knackering. My score was super s-hite but i had fun. Can't wait till i can ride stock again.
  16. I'm there riding my mod believe it or not! Should be interesting.
  17. Not very good but used to have loads more fun :-
  18. Security trade!? you'd be great in MI5 telling everyone you've appiled. Me , My ideas are a bit more humble ,a couple of Bike shops, offering quality products with quality service. Hopefully start distributing some parts in the not to near future aswell.
  19. Nice one , Sorry to keep beating you to it mate :-
  20. Taken from Gateeight.com  Gate Eight team rider Chris Akrigg is now riding for Mongoose / Air Valley Cycles / Hyundai / Hotwheels and Muc - Off. Mongoose have a new trial bike coming out and Chris should be on it for the Bike Show next weekend. The GT and Mongoose UK teams have picked up Hyundai UK as their main sponsor. This means that very soon Dave Wardell, Chris Smith and Chris Akrigg will be driving around in brand spanking new Hyundai Santa Fe 4wds. They have been fitted with alloys, blacked out windows, leather seats. Check one out at the Bike Show this weekend on the GT stand. Nice. Couldn't see ashton giving him a motor. :-
  21. Did you really expect it to be that good? I mean its a prototype. Lol i'm sure someone will bring some back from the bike show.
  22. Chris Akrigg's prototype Mongoose Transfer trials bike arrived at hotwheels today and will be with him for the weekend. So he WILL be riding a Mongoose at the bike show.... :-
