  1. Ah there good cranks but they were battered a bit when I bought them, so I guess its not so bad.
  2. Well I had been thinking this through with some friends, Hope are a large and reputable company for almost all styles of biking. Pro2 hubs are a common favourite for trials bikers, I have one on my front wheel, and lots of stock riders love the rear freehubs. But what I can't get my head around is the fact how they only make a rear freehub spaced for 26". I mean, if they made one for 20" bikes, it would probably be the best mod freehub on the market. The Deng freehub is one option but are apparently naff, and Chris King Bmx hubs are way to expensive for most people, only a few people really can spend that much money on a hub and can justify it by using it to its full potential. There is also the profile hub, but the Pro2 would offer another choice of hub and £30 cheaper (if the same price as a 135mm one). I think Hope should make them, Profile hubs are BMX hubs and may not fair up to standard to a Pro2 that could be built specifically for trials use, and only a few places sell the Profiles with disc mount. As well as the fact how a Pro2 sounds lush. I personally would have bought one immediately if they made them for a mod frame. Now here comes the poll, who thinks Hope should make them? as I would love to have a Hope Freehub to match my front one.
  3. Well Mr Postie didn't bring my cranks, so will be a bit longer before it is updated. D=
  4. Where we meeting at Jennings. You know I'm there. And what is wrong with too many people turning up, surely thats a good thing to show how many people want to be a part of it?
  5. I've just ordered some Echo Forged cranks guys, should be on the bike tomorow. My friend has Try-All rage bars and stem on his T-Pro, so I suppose thats similar, but it feels like a pile of wank, I like the riser style of bars like the Monty ones but not on this kind of bike, better on the shorter bikes in my opinion.
  6. I love the Monty's, so many people do it, they spray it whatever colour and put the Monty stickers on and it looks perfectly natural and normal, no matter how outrageous the colour is. Good job man.
  7. WD-40, lubes it up to slip it off, my mate had an impossible tyre too, he needed levers to get the thing on. I use motorbike tyre levers, no chance of bending those.
  8. What kind of T-Comp?, as 07's are the same as T-Pro's. I'm working on it.
  9. Well I have had the little tag of "Head of the T-Pro guild" for quite some time now, mainly as a joke to show how many people have a T-Pro. Fat Pants added me today and asked to join, so I thought I'd post up all the people who have or have had a T-Pro. (Past members are those who once owned and rode one, but have a different bike now). 10. My friend had Onza Citrus pads on a medium grind and they work the nuts, the pads are brilliant for about any kind of rim, and a good price. Just be warned with using them on a mediumish grind is that they wear quite fast.
  11. Ah yea of course the BB is one. I would love to eventually have a dual disc CZAR Steve, but there obviously isn't much point at the moment. Yea I'm thinking Echo forged, as I have just splashed out on rear wheel and have no money for any other kind of crank. =D
  12. Dan Clark + Trials = wtf? Looking swish Dan, get a lid you fool. And Luke as well. And Dan, would you be able to ride Chelmsford this Saturday if your back on the trials?
  13. Well here is my T-pro, I call her black beauty. All I need to change are my cranks, pedals and frame. Pedals are on the way, cranks and starting to crack so I need to replace them, and I don't plan on changing the frame until its had its time. Specification Frame: T-Pro Front wheel: Echo 07 built onto a Pro 2 Rear wheel: Echo 07 built onto an Echo fixed disc hub Forks: Echo Lites Front brake: Hope Mono Trials 07 160mm Rear brake: Hs33, Echo pads, Echo booster Cranks: Monty square taper Pedals: T-vee pedals Freewheel: Eno Bars: CZAR risers Stem: Echo team Extras: Hope QR skewer, Hope headset spacers, Tarty Chainstay proector (found it on a ride ) My frame isn't fading the pictures just make it look that way. Thanks,
  14. The editing has given me a slight headache to be honest. Riding was damn nice though, I didn't know you sidehopped in the direction of your forward foot? Come ride on you Zhi sometime.
  15. Everyone loves the good ol' T-Pro, and mainly because they are simple and cheap. Apart from Muel, who wasn't/isn't satisfied with their T-Pro? No-one. I rest my case. (Pretty in black)
  16. Who fancys riding a bit of Chelmsford this Saturday then? Should be coming with Steve and Reece from the Braintree way. Who else?
  17. Well for the future I would love to go dual disc, preferably a frame like the CZAR mod, but it only comes as disc or 4 bolt mounts, not both. My new hub as a disc mount to it, but my frame doesn't (T-Pro), I would love to try a rear disc on my current frame just to get a rough idea of how good it works, before shelling out £300 for a disc only frame to find that I don't like rear disc. I have riden other dual disc bikes, but after my front disc not being to my standard I want to make sure a rear disc doesn't do the same thing, so I want to test it on my current bike so I don't have to spend lots on a new frame. Is there any disc mount convertors about on the market, or anyone who makes them on order?
  18. I'm still liking the disc mount, I'm interested in one myself. I can see the top half fixes to the 4 bolt mount, but where does the bottom bit go, on the axle? Looking very nice, is definately unique.
  19. Ooh dear Steve, doesn't look good. I blame the make of the rim myself. ( ) Me wants to see riding piccies.
  20. Damn nice riding, the bin/bench line in Chelmsford (at the end) was so smooth and effortless. You tried hooking that mod yet Steve? Well done chap.
  21. Does the brake still work when you pull the lever, if so, then no. Just put a ziptie or hose clip around it to hold it firm, just until you can buy a new master cylinder.
