I think it might have been a footjam like people without any brakes do to slow themselves down. Just take it into a bike shop and say; "Sort that!", it won't cost you anymore than £15. And as for boosters, T-Pro frames flex shitloads, they are needed.

That static to backwheel was huge Nick, what you talking about small? I wish I could do em, about 22" is my biggest. ( :$ )

I thought that was the old Luminous Yellow T-Mag for a second there. Thats pretty imaginative, how did you go about making it?

I must say Scott that video was beautiful, it almost brought a tear to my eye. Its sad whats happened with some of the Clacton riders how there was loads, then almost none, and now just Ash, Scott and Rob. Some good footage there and some good editing, went really well with the song.

Not sure if this is a repost, but I have just seen this video on YouTube. Looks fairly old, but I think its blooming amazing especially for its time. Youtube Video -> Original Video The guy on the T-Master is just pure power and smoothness, wtf?

Never had Pizza Hut, Dominoes is awesome. Can't beat a bit of Dominoes.

Yea thats a thing Ash, have you tried Toby's Hydroxx might give you an idea. Get a short, much better for spins and technical shizzle that your into. Everyone knows that a short bike spins better.

If you want to get one of the Phase bikes, try to push further and get the 1.2. Is well worth the money for £200 extra. The 1.1 doesn't even have 4 bolts or canti studs on the forks, just disc.

Braintree Tomorrow Evening (wednesday)
Captain Scarlet replied to 1handedluke's topic in Member Organised Rides
Damn you Luke, the one time you come to ride Braintree and I'm busy. Am having a look around thing at Braintree College. Can you make it another day? As Reece can't ride his bike atm, And I'm not sure what Steve is doing. Thursday or something would be awesome. If you do some down though, I leave for the college at 6, so If I meet you in town at 4:30, I could ride for an hour? -
I must say, it really has become evident how much you have progressed lately. Huge gaps, huge sidehops, rear wheel sidehops, wtf! I have a lot to learn from you.
-
Oh damn you. I would come to London if I had someone to go with. See you all some other time.

Even if you don't use the snail cams, you need to keep them on the hub as they work as spacers. I am currently running Gusset chain tugs on my T-Pro, but its amazingly easy to set-up as having the snail cams as spacers, means that doing the wheel bolt up doesn't flex the frame and change the position of the brake set-up.

Just ordered one, hope its serviceable to an extent.

I don't think I should be riding until I get my new frame, my T-Pro looks like it can give way at any time. So can this freewheel be taken apart and looked at? (Like taking the lockring off, then the outer teeth in the same way as an eno?)
-
Thanks for the offer Ryan, but I've already got a set of Echo Forged cranks, and should be ordering a new freewheel tommorow. However upon checking my frame today, the crack has doubled in size.

I keep on thinking the same thing, then I imagine myself riding this dream bike, then I completely miss the point and realise that theres a very unlikely chance of me winning. My mod is where my money goes at the moment, its fairly decentish spec, so why get another, its the perfect chance to start another bike that is completely different to what you already have.

Well in the attempts to remove my Eno from my Monty cranks, it is still stuck on the cranks and is in bad condition. (The bike shop clamped it in a vice and mashed the parts that house the pawls so now they hardly spring at all). I think its probably better just to buy a new freewheel, I am interested in a Try-All freewheel, I have used to search but found various opinions on them, but mainly other freewheels. So, I don't want anyone recommending me another kind of freewheel, to the owners or previous owners of the Try-All freewheel, What do you think of it, good or bad? Can this freewheel be serviced/checked/maintained to some extent to eliminate skipping or other problems? Does the lockring always come loose? If the freewheel does turn out bad, is there any kind of warranty on it? So I'm looking at people with previous experiences in this freewheel, good and bad points. Thanks, Tom

I go through work as they send out internet orders in the form of bikes. Just pop into Autoparts and ask for a bike box Courtney, we always have some laying about. Then just tape some cardboard around parts of the frame and fork to stop it getting scratched during transit, take the front wheel out and attach it to the frame with cable ties, take out the handles bars and again attach the the frame, turn the stem inwards. Shorten the box is necessary to make for a snug fit. And make sure you cover the ends of your axles to prevent them ripping a hole in the box. Just remember that the person handling the parcel doesn't necessarily care whats inside, they do get thrown around a bit.

Then you need to learn it the other way to untwist your hoses. =D

I'm a maybe for the Saturday, and weird enough that came from my mum, I'm surprised to see her say that. Comes to £14.25 for me on the train. I might also be able to my new frame by then if things go well. But my freewheel doesn't look too good so lets hope I can bodge it.
-
Are all of those GU designs going to be released?, what do they stand for anyways? Deng really needs to start making these frames with both mounts, rather than a seperate frame for a kind of brake. He would save and sell lots more that way. And I'm sure people would be prepared to pay extra for both kinds of mounts.

Your also a dual disc whore by the looks of things. Very nice Now get out and ride it.

Wanting Some Tips About New Back Wheel
Captain Scarlet replied to darren hughes's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
On my backwheel, I invested in an Echo disc hub, its only £10 more than a standard Echo fixed hub, and could be a damn good change for the future. -
Test Drive Unlimited. I've got to get around to starting again, I lost my save on my first go, I was about 30% complete, but they have brought out a patch to stop it now. M.O.O.R. ***
