  1. What helmet lol, Didn't know you even wore one. Okay maybe tape the hat to my head, now I need to invest in a beard.
  2. Was that Balman's bent one? Man if someone read what I just put without reading the topic title they'd be freaked. Looks damn nice, bend or no bend.
  3. I don't think there is a mod rider who was riden a T-Pro and not liked it. I know quite of a lot of people who loved their T-Pro's, I did.
  4. How on earth will I wear my helmet? My helmet has red and white on it anyways, I might just buy a Santa beard.
  5. They are fine for use on an Onza. Easily the most commonly used bar and stem set-up, the one thing that mainly affects it is what angle your bars are at and how long your steerer tube is.
  6. I'll wear a crimbo hat defo. When I'm not riding of course. =D Ryan, its only Wednesday, you can't really trust weather forecasts that far into the future. Wait until like a day or two before the ride. =D Msn says good. http://weather.uk.msn.com/local.aspx?wealo...ons=wc:UKXX0103
  7. I've done this kind of thing before to people who have been arses and threatened to assault me. Or maybe another way of putting it is almost like giving into it, like if they say they are going to steal your bike and beat you up, just say "Okay, if you like." Just putting them in the wrong.
  8. Yes, that is an Echo Team stem.
  9. Ditto, I think Gold, yellow and black is a bit of a mish-mash. Headset too. I think it looks fine apart from that though.
  10. One that works well is being sympathetic. If you make them feel bad about what they are doing and they can really see the situation they have put you in, then they usually back off. But this depends on who it is coming from, if it is from a group of kids/teens then yea, but big blokes in their 20's, probably not. If worst comes to worst, then I'll at least put up a fight before handing over my bike. If your gonna hit somebody, hit them hard.
  11. Hey, I'm still riding in shorts and t-shirt. Just don't ride too fast and hop around a little. Aww Hydroxxes just look too damn sexy. Like they were meant to be.
  12. Oh how I love mineral based fluid. =D
  13. Favourite sauce would be a controversial decision, and Mayo would so win. As for Ketchup its Heinz. I hate tomatoes, but Ketchup is good.
  14. It doesn't feel like Christmas to me at all. =( Must be aging. I remember as a kid being all psyched up about the whole holiday, not just the day. But then again I was young, and had no worries in the world. Christmas seemed to last for weeks, not days. Nostalgia
  15. Well if he doesn't come, I'm not travelling all the way to Norwich on my own. Looks promising though, he's taken his bits into a bike shop who will do it before crimbo, and it should be done by Friday apparently. Charlie then said he is definately going. See you all there. EDIT: Is it still at 11 at the station?
  16. Jennings is still uncertain, due to the fact how he wants his bike done for the ride. Gah!!! Hopefully he will say yes. =D
  17. Yes a spacer is a good addition, changing the steerer height can be a big change. I'd cut it flush or a little bit lower than the stem, and then put the top cap on and check it is all in place and holds properly. When I changed from my T-Pro frame to my Echo frame, the headtube was a tad shorter and cause more steerer tube to poke through, so when I went to tighten my star nut, it pull the top cap down and butted up against the forks. Once it done this, I could still tighten the bolt but it wasn't actually getting any tighter as it was as far as the top cap could go. Bit of filing then sorted this. But the best way to do it is be conservative, don't cut off too much as you can't go back, but if you cut off too little you can cut off a little more. EDIT: I also believe that the 08 is exactly the same as the 07, it just has a disc mount rather than a 4 bolt. So there is only one 08 model and that is disc.
  18. I LOL'ed. I think it was funny how he just disapeared, wasn't expecting that to happen.

  20. From what I've seen they're not as stupidly weak as what everyone thinks they are. Chris (zhi) who was the guy who first could import them, runs Magnesium wheels and frame, he is a pretty amazing and big rider and all his Magnesium components are going fine for him.
  21. Reece, I don't think you have any grounds to argue against Jon, no need to use that language either. He helped by submitting an idea, Charlie disagreed, started an argument and you didn't consider what the argument was, but to swear instead, Your in the wrong. The area I thought the bloke decided upon was this obvious triangle. Triangle You may have to click and drag the cursor to the bottom right corner a bit. The man who oversaw our ideas says that he wants a good product from it, something that fits the landscape, like it is meant to be there, and not like it has been dumped there. I think we have really covered what is needed, but for this to persue further we actually need to get some working drawings together, and work out how big the obstacles are, how many there are, and how much space is used.
  22. Pull your arse in a bit is all I can say. If you can ride well like it, then don't worry. I used to be like it, and still am to a certain extent. I just try to relax myself a bit, and imagine that I am my favourite rider. =D
  23. Trials? No In fact I don't think you've ever riden what can be classed as trials. Well Charlie is out, so therefore I have no-one to travel with. Sorry Have a good ride, someone get some pics, possibly a video.
  24. I think it looks pretty nice. Would it ride like a trials though, or a jump bike? lol I think the one thing about it that should be changed is the seat hole, it should be flush with the frame, so it can be removed and look trials like.
  25. What time is everyone meeting? I'll see if Jennings is available. If he wears a mask to hide is grotesquely ugly face, then can Jennings come? And no, the sun doesn't always shine in Southend, last time I went it chucked it down and we had to resort to Chinese whispers to keep us amused. EDIT: Everyone who is going by train to Southend Victoria..... HOW?, I'm getting about 3 changeovers from Braintree, and one of those is a bus?
