Depends how pedantic you want to be Dave. Give him a break, his shift key is probably broken. Coxx, thats not quoting Nick's post, where he did give you the best advice you could take in your situation. I'd say respect your more experienced elders.

Making eBook guides and selling them. I do magic as a hobby and some websites sell downloadable ebooks, which contain magic tricks which an independant artist has made, sells the ebook to the company and then they sell them. Same also goes for DVD's and downloadable videos.

I do believe in ghosts from personal experiences I have had, but I do not believe that orbs or electro-magnetic fields are signs of ghosts. Thats all balls to keep programmes like "Most Haunted" interesting.

Well I'm a cat lover myself, I've had 3 cats in my lifetime and each have had their own foods they go mental for. My oldest cat loved anything with cheese, I remember opening a pack of wotsits as a kid to find her trying mentally to get into the bag. My tabby had an obsession with prawns, and soon learnt the name of them, and would climb the walls as soon as you said the word. And now my tortoiseshell is mad over olives, you could have the oil on your hands and she'd soon find you, I dropped a few on my kitchen tablecloth and she was soon on the scene to lick away at the residue. So what pets do you have? and what food do they like? (Yea its a bit of a different question, but I'm still amazed by the fact that my cat loves olives!)

I was about to add Hydrogen, surprised no-one brought it up yet. The science text books at my school (quite old ones), say that fossil fuels should have run out by now.

Andrew Chai's New Ride! Neonbike.com
Captain Scarlet replied to Dan@Trials-uk's topic in Bike Pictures
Thats awesome, does go really well, the red rim tape mirrors the BB quite nicely. I thought the frame colours were a bit gash, but thats proved me wrong. Keep updated on how well that rear disc mount holds out, I like it but the fact how the caliper can be adjusted back and forwards seems like it might move, I'm probably wrong though. -
Sidehop is at 1:08 those who are interested in seeing.

Aha thats a good 'un.

Sam Wheeler Damn beat me to it. Could tell by the sidehop gaps and the SelectBikes shirt. =D

Isn't that just a premonition?

James Butcher, bloody amazing rider, at this is the most he tucks in the whole motion, he literally lands then stands straight back, none of the twisting the bars crap. Just shows you don't need to tuck huge to sidehop huge, the prehop is just as amazing, it doesn't look as though he puts any effort into it. Also not forgetting that he is on one pile of pallets not two. =D

Yea I always give money I want to save to my mum and she hides it somewhere. (No not there you sick gits) I've got one of those tins which you can only open once which I keep money inside, thats been collecting for ages. A good tip is try to keep money out of the bank, whenever I have money in there I think; "Hmmn could draw a tenner out and get a few sweets", but that money sits in my wallet and gradually gets spent, then the whole cycle happens again.

Grind Plate Pedals ---what Do People Think?
Captain Scarlet replied to Sidehop Stuart's topic in Trials Chat
That would be damn annoying to find the right side to each pedal everytime. -
Theres the argument that the higher the quality, the bigger then file sizes. But, the higher the quality, the more you can compress without losing too much quality. You could render a crap quality at a lower rate, lose tons on the file size, but have no quality. HD, render at a low rate, keeps its quality better and good file sizes.

My god that looks amazing. And I've pretty much got all those components so I know what my bike would look like with that frame? How well does it ride?
-
Yea ditto Tom, also got Rock band. =D So give me a few days I'll be online with those.

Cheers man, thats the way I hope to go with it. But at the moment I can't do that height for nothing, I just need to put more confidence into it.

I personally think an on off should count when it comes to biggest sidehop. I mean look at high jumpers, I'm not 100% sure on this but when high jumpers go over the bar they can clip it can't they but so long as the bar doesn't fall it still counts? To be honest if it was made the rule that on-offs counted, and so long as both tyres were in contact with the top of the wall in some way, then it would count. Yea you get people whose rear tyre's fold like mad on the rear, but think if you could land two wheels on the very very edge of the wall which ended up being an on-off, there would be more chance of the record being pushed further and broken. Or perhaps it could be done as two seperate records; biggest on-off sidehop, biggest sidehop held.

Clacton And/or St Osyth - 31st May
Captain Scarlet replied to RobRook's topic in Member Organised Rides
I'm assuming that you will be there with everyone else Wheeler? The main spot is a caravan park named after me (Hutleys!). Reece and I will probably be down at 10, by the time it takes us to ride from Clacton. -
Oh god now I have to put up with you in college? What is this world coming to?
-
Sidehop on a wall just outside my house. Thing is I haven't done that good in a while, ah well it will come back to me.

Friggin sweet Joe, the videos of you on your Dob are my favourite, just so powerful and smooth, an amazing and inspiring riding style. I think its enough to make me want to buy one.
