  1. Well basically the two finalists from the Brentwood demo went into a grand final to decide a winner, this is chosen on one section that is a timed run. This is James Butcher who managed it in 12.75 seconds. Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload
  2. Was a good day, soooo hot though. I got a video of James Butcher's timed section. Trials-Forum Video ->Full View • Download • Upload
  3. Saw this in flesh today, its already had a good solid riding to it. Chai is easily the best person to promote Neon in the UK, I think its convinced me to get one as my next frame. I had a look on the Neon site and could see some Black and white frames (Yes!), but I can't spot a disc mount on either model, Dan would you know if the 2008 model has a rear disc mount on it?
  4. If your not going back to rear magura, you could get rid of your mounts that would save a bit of weight. It does remind me a lot like a Monty Kamel without the hump. I reckon doing that and changing your cranks and BB like you said would get that below 8kg. I'd have a look at the Neon CNC cranks, I only saw them today they are like 300g something and only £60.
  5. Woo I can actually post something relevant to this topic. So I'm currently seeing a girl, okay to make things simpler, I'll refer to myself as "T" and the girl and "Girl 1" Boy 1 really likes and wants to meet with Girl 1, but she can't/doesn't want to, and had already planned to see T. Boy 2 then finds Girl 1 with T, and then goes on to tell Girl 2, so news then soon gets to Boy 1. Umn, logical explanation why Girl 1 can see T as a mate, but not Boy 1? Haha.
  6. I'd like to see you bleed your brakes with water, and Reece. To be honest, I've got my original bleed in my Magura, if its not broken why fix it? No doubt I'll try water when my original bleed's time comes.
  7. In-game points I'm guessing.
  8. They are incredibly aesthetically pleasing. Theres like 4 members of the Essex Bike trial club who have the mod, and 1 who has the stock.
  9. Echo rims do take a bashing, I have landed pretty harsh on the front and rear of mine, but yet they are still true and no signs of dents. They also have a very good anodised finish, brilliant braking surface for soft pads/smooth rims.
  10. Will this new batch difer in any way from the current model?
  11. I would say the odds are a better Tomm. One example of a technique he is very skilled at is suggestion. Now obviously Derren is quite experienced with it and can get it right the majority of the time, by influencing spectators thoughts and descisions with the power of words. One which he explains in great detail in his "Pure Effect" is a psychological card force, in which his actions such as hand movements and words, can make a spectator pick a required card. So from the spectator's point of view, they feel they have freely though of a card, whilst Derren influenced their choice. Obviously there is a chance that the spectator does not pick up on this suggestion that Derren is suggesting ( ), but Derren as he would have done it lots of times would be able to see if the spectator picked up on it or not, so from an amateur doing the suggestion they may not be able to influence the spectators choice. Now this is on a small scale, and is probably the starting point for people who wish to learn suggestion techniques, Derren incoporates this into his effects but at a much higher level. The technique for it all is very clever and often goes unseen as his speech patterns seem to flow as though he wasn't suggesting anything at all.
  12. I think that Derren Brown is easily one of the best in the world at the kind of magic/mentalism he performs, his style and effects are so unique. I can tell you that in the majority of all instances, it is not stooged. From reading his book "Pure Effect", he does explain that rather than having a self working trick that works everytime he does employ risk, and that is that the effect may not quite go to plan, but when it does, its a damn amazing sight.
  13. Oooh would love to see your beast of a bike in action Chai.
  14. Halfords foam grips are brilliant, admitedly the calouses on my hands aren't in a good condition (but thats mainly due to me biting them), but only timemy hands feel pain from riding is if I have had a really long day of riding (say from 8 til 6). Only time I ever wear gloves is if my hands are cold.
  15. Ah man thats a shame, but your a beast with building different kinds of bikes, I'm sure you'll find something as good. Unlucky Reece (fingers not crossed) that yours won't snap.
  16. It depends how blatantly obvious it is man. I'm obviously sounding harsh, but if its only the skin on her face that isn't right and nothing else, she doesn't sound too bad. Try it, what have you got to lose?
  17. But you do know Expert is merged with Elite, so you'll be riding the same sections and competing against people like Mr Rankin. =O Blue all the way for me, should be good like last year, lets all hope for good weather.
  18. If you love your job, you'll never have to work a day in your life.
  19. Thats pretty mint, do love those frames. Actually does look a lot like my T-Pro when I had it.
  20. Well if it's on his back he won't be able to see it. Jon to the tatoo artist: "Surprise me!". =D
  21. Bit of the bump to the piercing thread. I've got into streching (how original). On a 4mm at the mo' (lol), I'll probably take it to an 8mm or 10mm and leave it at that. I knew my mum wouldn't like the idea, and that my dad would be okay with it (its the same for everything). So I had an Elizabeth duke stud (as I have had for years), made out that I had lost it and then whacked a 2.5mm in, I said "To be honest I'd rather have it bigger than close up completely". Now my mum is like "Your not getting your hair cut whilst that is in your ear", as for my dad if it was about when he was younger then he would have probably had it. I want to get my other ear pierced but I have a small mole near the area which would be pierced, so I don't know if it would affect it or not.
  22. Haha, quote from his autobiography.
  23. Weight saving freaks. Its a matter of grams what's the point? If maybe all the little weight saving changes from a 10kg bike, to get it to 9kg, but structurely it was fine then it might be worth it. But for the sake of 500g and a weaker bike its hardly worth it.
