  1. I would have been good for this if I had a bit of notice. Definately up for riding Clacton in the future!
  2. Lots of 'friends' deleted. Win!

  3. Posted it in the happy thread a while back. Although I now use the monitor on the left as a secondary monitor when using the mac, or as a gaming monitor and keep the mac up on the right,
  4. I still don't understand what this thread is about, "I rode my bike like an idiot, and my mate get's pulled"? Bit pointless? I think you should have just posted in the happy thread saying "Rode my bike like an idiot but my friend got pulled, very lucky and I won't ever be so stupid again"
  5. If that doesn't inspire you then give up now.
  6. http://www.vimeo.com/19333514 Blame my secondary monitor for appalling job of primary grading, only filmed to test grading so nothing big.
  7. Again bollocks, If your bike does 70 at 6k in first then what speed will it be doing in 15k in first? Just accept that you are an idiot, on the road and at covering your back in this story.
  8. Utter bollocks, if you can't control your speed then you shouldn't be on the road. Yes I have my fun on the road but admit to doing so, but time and a place mate.
  9. You should be able to apply for it straight from Ucas, sooner is better. Man your halls sounds ridiculously expensive, that's like £125 a week!
  10. Yea check on Student Finance for a Maintenance Grant, this you don't have to pay back but you may be entitled to due to your household/parental income. This could be up to £3000 for the whole year. Other one as said is a bursary or scholarship, depending on what course you are doing you may be eligible for a scholarship which is paid out to students who perform well or have performed well. Every university is also obliged to give a bursary to students which can be spent on books and equipment (or whatever you want) the minimum they have to give you is something like £300, they should be still doing this. I'm getting half of my £1000 bursary paid tomorrow, fun times.
  11. You tried Trainline for a cheap ticket man? do it, sounds like a real win situation!!!
  12. Easily done in post production I'd imagine. Not sure exactly but a bit of playing around with a cookie cutter/area selection tool and blurs would do the trick.
  13. I know of a guy who split his lobe at 40mm, he had the dangly bits cut and reformed by the NHS, seems fine. I can easily see what you mean about growing out of it and doing it when younger but it depends entirely on who or what you want to be. Mine are sitting here at 22mm, perfect, I find it suits me really well and I love them, hardly anyone says about them being disgusting if anything it's more of an eye opener. Probably about 80-90% of people I meet don't comment on them, either because they're not bothered by them or keep it to themselves. Biggest bit of advice for anyone is to just stretch them properly and you should no problems. I watched a video of a guy on YouTube who increased his ears in size by applying layers of bondage tape to his original plugs, so he saved money not having to buy tapers and his ears are really healthy and as flexible as normal earlobes, they were around a 50mm I believe. Even I can appreciate this, my left hand lobe goes weird shaped because of the scarring when I stretched too fast, the right remains in a perfect circle because I took my time with it. Ear stretching should not hurt, if it hurts then you are doing it wrong!!!
  14. I did indeed, she replied "I'm not that easy". Which was kinda confusing as she was obviously eager and stark naked...?
  15. Just a tip, because it's a *.mov file doesn't mean other *.mov files will not work with your editing set-up *.mov/Quicktime is merely a container format, whereby multiple tracks of whatever format can be dropped in and read by the one player, in this case quick time. If the original video file is a quirky format before it is contained into the *.mov then this will give the symptoms that you have been experiencing. *.Avi may have not worked the first time as that is also a container format, so I would assume it kept the original referenced files the same, but by the sounds of it the prism software must have converted the reference files before making it *.Avi
  16. Final Cut Pro is easily the best shout in terms of easy to use and how efficient it works. On Windows though I'd be inclined to say Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere. And as for handling HD it isn't a software issue but more a computer spec issue, you'll generally need a relatively new specced processor and 4GB RAM to be able to preview HD footage in the viewer without any lagging. For speed of rendering/crashing, it is usually best to have an unallocated drive as a dedicated scratch disk rather than your internal hard drive which it will probably be on as default, so if you've got an external hard drive, set audio and video render scratch disk as that drive.
  17. Okay, been seeing this girl, she has no other possible 'guys' affiliated with her at the moment, all in good. So after watching Shawshank (classic) just now things get a little heated, we are both in a sober state of mind. Maybe I'm just an expectant cnut, but am I wrong to think that if you are both naked, doing everything but the main thing and she of course isn't on, that you are guaranteed sex? What could have been a pretty good night in with a woman has turned into something I would have much rather done myself.
  18. 1 frame, but it was a second hand t-pro with over welded gusset. 1 chain. A couple of spokes. That's it...
  19. I'm not too sure about people joining as of now, you might have to have a word with student finance. At worst I'd imagine your last year will be the expensive one. People who are already at uni will not need to pay any higher than what they currently are. Got my house sorted for second year. A 6 bedroom, 3 storey town house...
  20. Final Cut Pro. I always personally worked with Vegas and in college on FCP and found Vegas easier to work with, but this was only my ignorance of not wanting to pick up FCP also. FCP makes much more sense and works very very well and effective, it is more logical than Vegas, and is ultimately used a lot more in the industry than any other editing software, so it is very good to get used to as soon as possible.
  21. They look really good to me. Initially I would be concerned with bulkiness/weight but if you say they are light then it looks like a good upgrade and offers more protection than standard helmets.
  22. Which bottom bracket cup did you fit first? I have accidentally fitted the left hand/non drive side first and pushed it a lot further in the bb shell than what it be, so as a result the actual bb can't be threaded all the way into the bb. Failing that it might have to be a marginally longer bottom bracket.
  23. As embarrassing as it sounds, what about recording you humming or whistling it, or what you know of it.
  24. I've had my Limey 320 frame for about a year now and I haven't cleaned that once. To be fair I don't ride as much as I used to, and even if I do it is rarely in bad weather.
  25. Indeed, just says unknown error when singing into App store or iTunes store.
