  1. I chose; History, Double ICT, Resistant Materials, Double Science, and Young Enterprise. History was easy, had two writen pieces of coursework which we done in year 10, then from that time 'til the exam was just learning everything we could, I dossed around, didn't revise and managed to pull out a C. Young Enterprise is an exta GCSE some of us got to do out of school time, its basically setting up you own company, we set up a T-shirt company, the supplier was dodgy and never actually made any shirts and we nabbed lots of share holders money, but to get the actual GCSE itself you just need to do well enough in the exam (saying how great our company wasn't, and what we would do differently next time.)
  2. Good to see the trials scene is getting more coverage, great work Jack. Although I ashamed not to see the move where you pretty much frontflip off the bike, I'm sure that would have gone down well.
  3. Thats perfect, do love the skinny style bashplates, I'll rob it off my Echo then ahah. Oh a final question to add, if I am to reuse my Echo bashplate, what exactly holds the rubber block in place, I see that most frames have an area of metal on the BB to accomodate or grip the rubber, but its not visible on the Limey 20".
  4. I phoned MooreLarge today, I assume Joe is the rep ahah. Just need to get some money put aside, and I'll have a nice Limey 20 for the summer. =D Also, I see they are all pictured without bashplates, but with mounts, do they come with the plate itself or will I have to pilf one off my old T-Pro...?
  5. Anyone want their arse handed to them on COD4...? add me (THutley). Also on MotoGP 08, so addiciting. Also, lets set a date for the first skate2 session...? =D
  6. Nice, was going to give ML a call to see if they would stock them. I think once I've had enough of my Echo I know where to go. =D
  7. Looks like some amateur's shoddy edit of some old clips already used in his videos.
  8. We are both using Coust pads with Heatsink CNC backings, and are also running very dead grinds ahah. Thanks for the comments so far.
  9. Whilst on the topic, whenever I swim I do one length of the pool and I'm absolutely knackered, what am I doing wrong there...? I can swim and keep afloat fine so its not me struggling to keep up. And no the pool isn't ridiculously long.
  10. Whats wrong with the standard mineral oil. LHM+ (Mineral based brake/suspension fluid), costs the same amount as Dot 4, and is designed for a Magura. So why would you want to use a synthethic based oil in a mineral designed system..?

    An Icey Ride

Trials tube didn't like the widescreen. Vimeo Link. http://www.vimeo.com/2784063
  12. Well I uploaded to the trials-tube, but I don't think it liked the widescreen-ness. Either way, heres a short video of Reece and myself having a bit of fun with the cold weather. http://www.vimeo.com/2784063 No doubt we'll do another video nearer to the summer, hopefully bigger stuff once we are back into the flow of riding. Oh and for smoother playback, turn the HD function off.
  13. Nice find Tom. He really has a Benito like style about him. Whatever it is, it obviously seems to work. =D
  14. Awesome pictures Matt, Toby's backwheel looks absolutely huge, any size there...? Glad to see big rides happening around Essex way, anyone got any plans as to where to ride next, I'd love to out with a whole group entity again. =D
  15. Excuse the photo quality, this was done on my camcorder as a still. (and lighting conditions too) Its small, but it forces me to de-clutter often enough.
  16. Yea looks a lot better than the original, seems much smoother in graphics too. Keeping my £20 Game gift card until it comes out. Cannot wait. =D
  17. That looks brilliant, I love the crossover area of the frame where you've put those stickers, just looks smooth and immaculate.
  18. A few more to add. When the weather gets better, I want to go out for a run every now and again. When I ride trials, I need to go for more stuff (I am usually capable of what I want to attempt, I just wuss out thinking I won't make it), I need to think "What is the worst that can happen", and need to let myself go and try more daring line (I've already down a down to up gap, which involves a wheel switch on a wall with about a 4 foot drop.). Lets face it, not much can go wrong, I've just got to teach myself how to fall off my bike a bit. I don't get much chance to ride, so I'm going to have the make the most of every opportunity and do things I've never done before.
  19. Mainly aimed at Dan or anyone else in the Essex area, can anyone recommend a good piercist? look at getting my lower lip done.
  20. I'm running a HPI E10 drift car. The shop I work at used to sell a lot of rc stuff, and whilst its not as big as it was, we still have accounts with the distributors. We also used to run a club, but when things got too serious and expensive, we backed down. Now we're all getting back into the car racing, go to the same club (although now run by someone else). Our reason for getting back into it, was to start with a cheap car (in this case the E10) http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/10702/ We wanted to get young kids with a little budget into rc car racing, so we chose a basic car with a lot of potential. There is a lot of potential in these cars, they retail at £130, but of course we've gone full whack, and upgraded it all to the max, I'll have to get some pictures of our cars up as they are fantasic, to name a few modifications; 5300M/a Li-po battery, adjustable oil shocks, 2.4ghz handset (no need for crystals), 13T brushless motor, and much more. Also going racing tomorrow so I'll take the camcorder and film a few videos. =D
  21. I had a habit of wearing shorts everytime I rode last year (hot or cold). Personal favourite are shorts, like elasticated swim shorts (move really well in those). Don't like wearing trackies (unless im in a stupidly muddy competition), just don't look appealing to me. Skinny jeans and slim fitting jeans are also good, because the hems around the ankles are smaller, and don't have to worry about them getting caught in the freewheel like normal jeans.
  22. Its just an Avid BB7 man? Its still got 3 days left so its likely to go up.
  23. Lovely video, glad to see its not another video with Drum and bass or metal in (even though I am fan of both, its just different and calming to have something like this). It gave me a smile watching, with bits like the up to front with continued front hops, just makes trials seem less serious. Also glad to see longer clips, so we can see a longer set-up before a gap or sidehop, and it fits well with the music of course.
  24. Yea in COD5 they payed attention to what people had done before to glitch to remove any chance of people glitching. Now anything thats found is patched, such as the bazooka jump which used to be able to get you on top of a building in hangar.
  25. Sony Vegas will take a wide variety of file types that Windows media can get edgy about (*.mp4, *.mpeg, *.mov, etc). You can get a free 30 day trial from Sony. Other option is to convert all your clips before importing them into WMM.
