Haven't riden much this year or the end of last year, hoepfully doing a lot of riding this year, you up for coming along to some rides...?

If it was put that way then my dad would have absolutely no friends. That also sounds like "For your friend to be a friend, you need to be with them everytime you go out", which is what I would consider a best friend. To me, a friend is someone who you know and get along with, someone who you can start chatting with spontaneously or ask a favour from.

Sorry fixed it now. Usually it automatically changes the private setting.

As I was out on my own today with tripod and camera at the ready, I set up and filmed a few clips (not that much, mainly just the mini quarter at a local skatepark), just playing with ideas and techniques. http://www.vimeo.com/3269468

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
Captain Scarlet replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
Well if you know she's screwing you over, you have to move on, she may have been nice and such but if she's already thought "Hmmn, I know he's so obsessed with me, I can leave him and get back together at a later date without him being troubled by it", then what says she won't do it again, in a much more serious stage of a relationship perhaps? -
Think how often you use your arms in everyday life, as compared to your penis. An arm is a much more versatile and useable limb than a penis in; working, social and personal life. At least definately if we are talking of a whole arm removal, mobility is serious affected here, of course your lifestyle can be adapted for this. Same goes to the penis, but its lifestyle that is seen/used as much as arms.

Then why did she split up with you? I know you might not want to hear this, but from my perspective, if she wanted to stay with you then she wouldn't have split up with you. It may be hard to not give in to her, but ultimately your getting walked all over by her if you run around with the the thought in your head; "Oh its okay I'll be back with her again in a few months". -
I'm sure most of your know the term "freewheel float", which on a front freewheel, becomes apparent when you spin your cranks backwards and you can see a side to side wobble to the freewheel (or float in this case). My first question; what actually causes freewheel float?, I understand the workings and internals of the freewheel, but have never known as to why most freewheels have float to them. Secondly with my freewheel, the side to side motion is apparent, I also have an incredibly noticeable up and down movement to my chain when the freewheel is not engaged (in freewheeling state). I've had this problem for sometime, and dismissed it as chain stretch, but its getting ridiculous now, especially when getting chain tension. I shall be replacing my chain soon (and rear cog just to eliminate the possibility of very quick chain wear), but if this does not cure the problem is there anything else that can be done..? Also, the freewheel is a Try-All one and the lockring doesn't appear to be loose, so I can't dismiss it as the actual cog moving from side to side.

Obvious one is a longer bottom bracket. Did you have a spacer on the crank arm before you fitted the bashring...? Another option is to try and tighten the freehwheel onto the crank arm as much as you can before you put it on (and you will still get it a bit tighter when you stand on the pedals once you've fitted it all), this may just clear the freewheel of the BB. Final idea is to physically make your bashring thinner by whatever means possible.

I think they are really nice set-ups, but I am really against the frames. I don't see how Deng can be charging so much for a frame that has no dedication to it, its the plainest/blandest looking frame on the market, even the weldings and such, its so basic yet so pricey..?

Read before posting. There have been many topics in the past asking for your favourite rider in trials, role models etc. But the question this time is a little different, and is more on a personal perspective. That question is; "Who has affected the way you ride? (and how)" It may have been the person who taught you to pedal hop, someone who pushed you further, someone who gave you a different perspective on riding, or even someone who recommded to change your set-up on your bike. I'll use my own personal one as an example, back when I got into trials a couple of years ago, I met a couple of riders from a nearby town who had been riding for a year already and rode a competition style of riding. I had only seen the ways of street riding (TGS I guess), and back then, the riders; Matt and Alain educated me of competition style riding, they set out they own little lines and challenges that we undertook as a group, having a laugh on the way. At first I was against the idea, slamming it as boring, and that I'd rather go off and do other more "exciting" forms of riding. Eventually they got to me, and I loved doing lines, in fact its what keeps me going today, getting more controlled and finishing with the personal satisfaction that I've had to navigate my bike over such a challenging line. I have not riden with the pair of them for some months now, and I still love remembering the times we had riding rocks (also being shown rocks at the seaside by themselves), making lines and having a laugh. So who has changed the way you ride...?

I too don't believe in Valentines day (yes one big scam), however I conveniently arranged go out with a lady friend today and then realised what occasion it fell on. Was a nice day, meet her, went to an all you can eat Chinese (which worked out cheaper than I thought), went to the arcades and won a Donkey Kong doll from the crane game machine (its my new habit, and it gave her a gift ). Went back to mine and lazed around, put the advice mentioned in this thread to good use ( ), and nabbed myself another date with her. GREAT SUCCESS!!!

Blimey, just in time for Valentines day.

COD4. Good luck getting both sides with just people from TF without someone else joining.

The design needs to be revamped a bit, theres like 2 threads to hold the lockring on with, its ridiculous. I always dabbed a bit of bearing lock on the threads (like threadlock but stronger), and then cranked it to the max with a hammer. Give it a month and it would still come off, but it was better than no bearing lock at all.

Hardly Nick, I gave a valid opinion as to what considers as a blatant tattoo and a hidden tattoo. I'm not trying to argue with anyone here but you can't really call me an idiot for addressing my own opinion?
